Tig Knight – “Passion of the Knight” (Video)
Birmingham stand up!! Alabama’s own Tig Knight has been doing the thing on the Indie Hip-Hop scene in the Steel City for some time now; but this one…WOOOO…this one is gritty! And I love it! Check out “Passion of the Knight” – a dark introspective interpretation of life as a young inner-city Black male - for yourself.

See, good things come to those who bide their time; but better things come to those stay on their grind! Filmmaker, photographer, Hip-Hop artist, and entrepreneur (New Car Tunes, November 14th Films) Tig Knight (a.k.a. Tig Knitty Run The City) has been working to help himself and others break through right there in The Cotton State. I learned of Tig Knight a couple of years back, through his work on a bi-monthly webcast showcasing Alabama’s Hip-Hop, Art, and Fashion. Directing, editing, raising funds, enlisting volunteers and interns, securing vendors and cameos, and more for that webcast project and for other artists’ videos… Tig Knitty was (and is) doing it all for himself and others; not content to wait on out-of-state salvation. Maaannn! Tig Knight makes me proud to be from the A-State!
(By the way… yes, you have seen the name Tig Knight before. You saw it here in this earlier video post for “Waiting” by Klub Monsta. Tig Knight was the director; showing in the beginning credits! That was driving you CRAZY, wasn’t it? You’re welcome.)
