According to Lupe Fiasco, you can understand why he wears black on stage and chose an all black album cover for “Food & Liquor II” by listening to the late Johnny Cash’s “Man In Black.” Of course, he does explain it a bit in this interview for Fuse TV, too. Lupe also admits… all black packaging makes the album easy to find in stores; AND it makes for a striking collector’s piece for one’s music library.
