The push is on for Tanya Morgan! This “Borrow That” (Boogie’s Revenge) Teaser is a promo video and prelude to a full-length physical release of “You & What Army” on CD. We’ve had access to the raw feed for some time now (see earlier post here); but the version was DIRTY…and for digital download only! Fine by us. But now the brothers are expanding (read: blowing up…once again). So, they are releasing a CLEAN (e.g. radio-playable) version of the “You & What Army” EP online…along with this Teaser…ahead of a physical CD of all those joints PLUS MORE! The full-length physical CD for “You & What Army” is scheduled to drop July 17, 2012, via HiPNOTT Records.

For Donwill and Von Pea, ‘You & What Army’ marks another defining moment in their careers, a melding of their solo and group work into a unified, fully-formed sound.
“The EP is a natural progression, in that it blends the production sounds that you heard on our solo albums into one cohesive set of songs,” says Donwill. “We also were conscious of people noticing that the trio is now a duo, so we wanted to ensure that this and all future projects have a different sound and feel than Brooklynati and Moonlighting.”
