What about when I wanna cry? What about when I wanna hurt?
This is gonna be ANOTHER epic Red Table Talk.
Oh, that’s right. Tupac is the link between Jada and Snoop (watch, cover that right away). Low-key, well not really since I am typing my thoughts here, this is pretty brave of The DoggFather to come on the show known for getting them Oprah tears out of guests… Speaking of Oprah… Jada, Gammy, and Willow WILL be getting Snoop to go in on what he said about O’s BFF Gayle King. So, lean in!

Jada Pinkett Smith And Jane Elliott Discuss The Racial Divide Between Women of Color & White Women At The Red Table (Video)
The level that these women share during these Red Table talks… deep. This one is no different; discussion starting with their own experiences of racism. Then Jane and Jada get into to the divide between women of different races and why it should not be, but is… deep.
Good discussion on race relations. And Jane Elliott is the perfect one for it.
The tough topic of race relations between women is brought to the Red Table with famed diversity educator Jane Elliott.

Jada Pinkett Smith ‘Breaks’ Will At The ‘Red Table’ (Video)
I wonder how this ep came to be. I mean, I believe Jada was getting numbers and moving her own ship with her own steam. And while the ‘why’ behind husband Will saying ‘yes’ to a sit-down is a no-brainer, it doesn’t seem to be needed. Perhaps that makes it a bit more authentic: They/Will did not have to do this. But man, did he (one of the best)! Just watch. And these are just ‘outtakes’ (full episode embedded after the jump).
Following months of “Red Table Talk†shooting in their house, Jada Pinkett Smith invites Will on as a guest and he finally realizes the scope of her massive TV show.
Even posted it to his channel.
(Full disclosure: ‘Sesquipedalian’ is one of my favorite five-dollar words!)

Alternative/Soul: Willow Smith – “9” feat. SZA
Well, well. Willow isn’t whipping her hair on this one. This is grown folks music. Quietly steering for calmer musical depths, Willow has SZA joining her on a… dare we say… much more sensual-sounding track. Definitely more grown up. Worth a listen. This is “9.” Get Will & Jada Smith’s baby girl’s current EP entitled “III.”
R&B/Alternative: Willow Smith – “Sugar & Spice”
When I saw a 1 or 2 people tweet about Willow Smith’s new song “Sugar & Spice” I immediately dismissed it thinking it was some bubble gum pop song from the 12-year-old daughter of Will & Jada. When I finally got around to hearing it I was deeply surprised for a variety of reasons. For one I realized the music she chose as her backdrop comes from one of my favorite Radiohead songs off of their 2011 “King Of Limbs” album called “Codex”. The second thing that was glaringly apparent was the writing, lyrics, & vocal arrangement was perfect & it felt deeply personal. The third thing running through my mind had me asking myself if this little 12-year-old girl is crying out for help. Deep.
