Treach Tells The Truth ‘They’ Tried To Hide From Him About His Homie 2Pac’s Assassination (Video)
Holy sh!t. This went exactly NOT as Vlad expected, but exactly the way it needed to. Bet money that the hit count on this episode goes nowhere near a million. Mumble rap and booty shake, yes, multimillion views. The truth in tell-it-like-it-is vids like this, HELL NO! But that ain’t gonna stop me from watching and sharing this Treach (of Naughty By Nature) confessional. You should do the same. I would not mind being wrong on this one!
Treach opened up to VladTV about getting the news that 2Pac was shot in Vegas, which he initially thought wasn’t a big deal. However, as time went on, he couldn’t get through to anyone close to the wounded rapper, and Treach said everyone knew to keep him away from the hospital due to his hot temper.
During the conversation, Treach spoke about how hard it was to record “Mourn You Till I Join You” and his thoughts on 2Pac’s murder being the worst kept secret. Hit the above video to hear what he had to say.

Lord Jamar Speaks On President Trump, Kanye West Wanting “In” The White House And More (Video)
Brand Nubian’s Lord Jamar is a VladTV regular. Usually comes through provacative & entertaining interviews. Some have that crazy-enough-to-make-scary-sense feel, though, like this one. He touches on Donald Trump’s tendency to Tweet off cuff, while in his feelings… thoughts on Black celebs like Jim Brown and Kanye West meeting with Trump.
Hmmm… Kanye gets dissed as a ‘jackass’ when President Obama was in the White House AND Jay Z and Beyonce were always welcome. Yeezy might be thinking about ‘hitting back’ with visits and while The Trumps run the place?
Interesting viewpoint, Lord Jamar. Interesting…
(Talk about The ‘West’ Wing… Yeezus H. Kanye!)
Salaam Remi, Amy Winehouse’s Main Producer, Speaks On Her Artistic Influence, Dying At 27 And More (Video)
Ohhhh! Amy Winehouse’s main producer was Salaam Remi? That’s one of Nas’ go-to producers. Wonder if that is what put them in contact (e.g. both working with and trusting Remi), allowing them to grow their friendship. Or was it that those two were friends… and one introduced the other to Salaam Remi.
Salaam Remi is one of the producers who worked heavily with the late Amy Winehouse. The producer discusses meeting Amy, and how they would come together to produce jazz music. He goes on to speak about her issues with love, her sense of humor and how that affected her music. Despite producing a majority of Amy’s work, Salaam reveals he did not get a Grammy alongside the songstress. Salaam talks, Amy’s legacy after the troubled singer died at just 27 years old.

Talib Kweli Insists That Seasoned Artists Can Learn From Lil Yachty & 21 Savage (Video)
Talib Kweli tells Vlad that Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Ugly God and the other young’uns in the rap game have something to teach the rap vets. No, helllll nooo; not about putting out good music. Rather, they know how to get a buzz that gets heat for an artist without paying playing the radio game. And that game has gotten even more expensive and more ‘in the shadows’ nowadays.
F*ck radio…don’t need no radio… [and] F*CK Gene Simmons!
RA The Rugged Man And Vlad Debate Drake Vs. Rakim Vs. Nas Vs. Jay Z (Video)
This title should be updated to include “Vs. The Diabolical Biz Markie” (dope live performer)! Great point made about real emcees, real MCs, deserving credit for Moving Crowds. Rakim (on the list, in the title) said that in his rhyme. And at its foundations, real MC-ing, THAT’S HIP-HOP! I like the energy of this debate as much as the content. Vlad and RA get it in!
(Those other guys in the title… they a’ight on the mic, too… except Vlad Haa!)

Azie Faison. Bronx-born, Harlem-raised. Sugar Hill, baby. Former mover of weight in the ’80s…in love with the ‘co co’ (selling cocaine). Dude was making $100K a day when the “War on Drugs” was being fought heavy. Roc-A-Fella Films’ “Paid In Full” was modeled after his life!
Above Faison speaks on realizing Alpo murdered Rich Porter and why, why today’s drug game is stupid and much, much more!
Lord Jamar Speaks Bling, Bootlegging, Black People Not F**king With Politics And More (Video)
Lord Jamar is a VladTV mainstay, known to get live for the camera. Now, in front of a live audience on camera, you think he’s gonna change up? Um… the answer is heeelllllll no! Dude starts this clip even keel but goes raw soon enough.
Earlier this year Lord Jamar sat down for a VladTV interview in front of a live audience and he remembered back to a time in rap when it wasn’t cool to wear big chains or be flashy. The Brand Nubian rapper explained that he stopped wearing jewelry because he didn’t want to promote drug culture, adding, “We wanted to be on some positive s***.”
Later, the conversation shifts to politics, as Lord Jamar shares his thoughts on why he believes Hillary Clinton was promised a presidency back when the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal hit. To hear more of what he had to say on the situation, including why he believes Trump is doing good whether he wins or loses, hit the above clip.
Kurupt Supports Former Clippers Owner Donald Sterling + Thoughts On Marriage & Relationships (Video)
“Kurupt opened up about his relationship with V. Stiviano during an exclusive sit-down with VladTV, and explains why he gave her a home visit soon after the news broke of her leaked messages with Donald Sterling. The rapper says that he was just looking out for a good friend, and Kurupt adds that he would do the same for any of his friends.
During the interview Kurupt also shared his thoughts on Donald Sterling, and believes they “took a good man down.” The West Coast emcee says that it shouldn’t have come as a surprise that Donald is “racist,” considering his age.” – VladTV

Fashawn Speaks On Signing with Nas & Loving Hip Hop Again (Video)
The cameras caught with West Coast emcee Fashawn for a quick on-the-spot chat. Fashawn’s got some things popping: signing with Nas’ Mass Appeal Records, collaborating with him and others…but still doling out a bit of advice for other rappers out here.
Note how Fashawn declares that just as he had lost love for Hip-Hop, getting to work with Nas brought it back. Stay true, emcees. Your fellow artists draw on that energy!
Lord Jamar Of Brand Nubian Speaks On How The Music Industry Is Pushing A Gay Agenda (Video)
‘Rap is gay-friendly. Rap is rich-friendly… There’s a lot of people with money that happen to be homosexual.’
– Lord Jamar (of Brand Nubian)
Wow. Suffice it to say, Lord Jamar speaks his mind. He says rap ‘speaks for the haves, where Hip-Hop speaks for the have-nots.’ Above, the emcee speaks VERY deliberately about the difference between ‘rap’ and ‘Hip-Hop’ and about what Hip-Hop is and is not. He also declares who has the right to say what Hip-Hop is and those who do not. Jamar apparently sees rising music star Macklemore as an avatar for what he’d call the gay agenda in rap. Watch the clip as Lord Jamar speaks (plainly) for himself.
