This Animé “MFKZ” Has Some Of Everybody Doing Everything R-Rated In It (Trailer)
Rated R? That all?? Looks like it could be ‘stronger’ with the warning. Bloody violence, check! Foul language, check! And sexual content, aaaand check! Yep… checks all the boxes for some dope, slick, sick anime that fans like; just like they like it!!
The film [“MFKZ”] centers on young Angelino and his skull-and-flame pal Vinz, who live in a seedy tenement in an LA-inspired dystopian metropolis – a burnt-out, gang and cockroach-ridden neo-urban hell. Following a scooter accident, Angelino starts experiencing migraines and strange hallucinations, as well as fits of rage-inspired superpowers, as he slowly awakens to the truth of his origins: he is half human and half Macho, a supernatural alien race that is bent on taking over the planet.

The Rap Music Generation Gap Debate (Teaser Trailer)
Interesting convo here… Maybe enough room for everyone to get their views appreciated and get mad during the course of it. Great look to have Scarface in there as a student of the game AND an O.G.
Rappers from 90’s go head to head with new rappers to talk about the state of music. The panel discusses whether current artists should be students of “the game” and study the older generation and respect what came before them. They also talk about how to stay financially-secure because not all artists stay “hot†their whole career. Find out their thoughts on the state of Hip-Hop.

Kali Uchis – “Only Girl” feat. Steve Lacy x Vince Staples (Prod. By Kaytranada) [Video]
Hmmm… the visual… It’s kinda out there, but Kali Uchis is in there (esp. with those outfits…nice)!
The imagery speaks on how disposable/replaceable “lovers” are treated and the things we will say/do out of loneliness. Kali was inspired by fake love, Edie Sedgewick, Nancy Sinatra and Calle 13. ‘Only Girl,’ the new single from Kali Uchis Ft. Steve Lacy & Vince Staples, out now.

The 2015 BET Cyphers: Def Squad Reunited (Video)(Video)
The headline says it all; like its own byline. Did you see the Cyphers this year? Always the best part of the BET Hip-Hop Awards. We expect a ‘wow’ moment or two from the Awards’ broadcast; and a Cypher is a good bet for a source. Well, there was [at least] a BIG one in this year’s – Erick Sermon, Keith Murray and Redman spitting with DJ Scratch taking the Preemo spot (see what we did there?) for the set. Def Squad comes back to life for the night! Good to see.
Click the pic above to start with the Squad. Got the rest of this year’s Cyphers linked after the jump.
Scion Road Trip: Eddie Huang Scoops Up Cam’ron, Prince Paul, & Vince Staples (Video)
Eddie Huang took a few minutes out of his schedule to jump behind the wheel of our 2016 Scion iA, making a few rounds around Los Angeles to pick up a few special guests – like Prince Paul (and his son, DJ P. Forreal), musicians Vince Staples and Stevie Lee and rapper Cam’ron – to hang and chit-chat.
Producers ‘Christian Rich’ Bring out Vince Staples during their DJ Set @ Mixmag Lab LA (Video)
When it comes to Chicago, Kanye is not the only producer out here making consistent heat.  Taiwo & Kehinde Hassan are Chicago born but of Nigerian descent who are blood brothers who make up the production duo Christian Rich.  If you are not familiar with the name sure you will know the siblings’ resume.  They have hits they created for Drake’s ‘Nothing Was The Same’, J.Coles ‘Born Sinner’, Childish Gambino’s ‘Because The Internet’ and Earl Sweatshirt’s ‘Doris’.  Recently they were invited to play a live set in LA for Mixmag Lab that consisted of Hip Hop, House, Dance and Electronic music during the mix.  During their set they brought out current XXL freshman and West Coast emcee Vince Staples who is making a lot of noise right now.  He performs on a new track that the duo produced with Vince rapping on it.
