Talib Kweli – ‘Mr. International’ (Video)

The Gutter Rainbows album that Talib Kweli released in January of this year is still one of the best hip hop albums to have dropped in 2011 so far. The only thing I was thinking that Talib should have done more is release more videos from that project. Looks like Talib Kweli decided the time was right following a recent visit to London to drop this Mr. International joint right here. Not mad at that he decided to crank the videos back up after releasing ‘Cold Rain’, ‘I’m On One’, & ‘How You Love Me’ earlier in the year. Now if Talib can spread out a few videos from Palookas with Sean Price, Wait For You, Gutter Rainbows, and for Friends & Family then he can round of the rest of the year well for the project. Maybe I’m just asking for too much huh? Nahhh
DJ Khaled’s Single With Drake Called ‘I’m On One’ Should Include Talib Kweli (Opinion)

When I first heard this song I thought it was a good R&B record for Drake, but later I found out it was for DJ Khaled’s upcoming album. I haven’t been a fan of DJ Khaled’s recent projects because they had the terrible distinction of being & sounding completely the same from the concepts to the audio soundscapes. From the looks of this video DJ Khaled can recognize like I can that Drake gave him a hit record with this song. It’s easy to see why DJ Khaled is going all out with a full promotional campaign with ‘I’m On One’ theme, but I can’t help but think about Talib Kweli rocking with ‘I’m On One’ earlier this year. Maybe they should find someway to do a full on R&B remix with Talib Kweli doing a verse in some way. Maybe put Talib Kweli on an extended remix or something to those type of fans. Many people probably wouldn’t like that, but I think you should show some type of props to Talib Kweli for rocking with that phrase & song this year first. This is a nice cover of Kanye’s ‘Say You Will’ from his 808’s & Heartbreaks album. Although I didn’t enjoy 808s & Heartbreaks, Say You Will was my favorite track from the album. With this Res cover I would have liked to hear it without any emcees on it, but it still works.
