Scarface is definitely a citizen of The Universe… and a recent guest on Sway in the Morning. Good candid convo, as we have come to expect from BrotherMob’s interviews. Dropping “Deeply Rooted†on September 4, 2015, the talk around the web will likely be, at least in part, on how the work is guaranteed to be ‘real’ or ‘less commercial.’ Again, isn’t that also what we have come to expect from Uncle Face. He’ll touch on that aspect above as he speaks on ‘the best work he has ever done.’

King Los Kills his Freestyle on Sway In the Morning (Video)

There was a time when if you were a rapper and you went on a Hip Hop Show guess what you did? Â You would actually go on there and Rap, Freestyle at worst kick a written verse just perform at least. Â This is not the case today it is not required or asked of to have artists get busy on the mic. Â Sway who hosts Sway in the Morning on Sirius radio keeps the tradition alive by having emcees do what he calls the 5 fingers of death. Â Where he changes up the beat and periodically throws out words that the emcee has to keep the freestyle going based off those words. Â He had King Los stop by and it’s safe to say that Los snapped during this segment. Â Successfully completing the 5 fingers of death and continuing to freestyle acapella for an additional two minutes on his own. Well, we just posted on Busta Rhymes’ leaving Cash Money. Now, there’s another shift in the Hip-Hop cosmos…G.O.O.D. Music bids adieu to Chi-Town’s Common. Similarly, the rap titans (Kanye West and Common) have apparently parted on good terms; no animosity in Common’s commentary about the subject.
…‘Ye is my brother. Point-blank, business-wise, it wasn’t like…‘Ye wasn’t really like ‘Okay, let’s go do this. Let’s go do this album.’ It was like, ‘I’m ’bout to go do this album, ‘Ye. We friends, but if you ain’t really trying to…but if we ain’t gonna create together, it’s all good. We still brothers.’ I think his focus was somewhere else…Marriage, life, good places…I cherish our friendship more than music. I’m grateful for the music we did…
