Freddie Gibbs – Cold Day in Hell (Trailer)
Gangsta Gibbs says his album will come out in July and the features list looks pretty diverse and Alchemist plus Statik Selektah make production appearances. Should be a dope project if you dig gangster rap music. Be on the lookout for the mixtape with Statik Selektah coming this summer also.
Freddie Gibbs & Statik Selektah Plan To Record Album In 24 Hours
New CTE (Jeezy’s Corporate Thugz Entertainment) signee Freddie Gibbs studio album has been pushed back or shelved but he is still working on new music as he preps for the latest Statik Selektah 24-hour project following in the footsteps of Saigon and Freeway who also did 24 hour projects with Statik. The Indiana rapper’s project will be called Lord Giveth, Lord Taketh Away and will be recorded June 24th at Statik Selektah’s home studio in Brooklyn and released 2 days later on the 24th. The recording process will be broadcast live on Ustream is what Statik told his followers from his twitter after he heard Gibbs telling folks he had a mixtape in the works. This should be really dope if its anything like the last few Statik Selektah projects.

It’s normal practice for artists to spend all night in a recording studio, but in this new technological era the guys allowed fans to watch the the whole recording process via their Ustream.
