Stat Quo – “Outkast” (Video)
I’ve been banging this hot new song from Atlanta native & part-time Los Angeles based emcee Stat Quo for weeks on my radio show. It’s a quality nod to Atlanta’s most famous hip hop duo ‘Outkast’ in terms of the initial sound, but the story is completely Stat Quo’s own. I LOVE this song man! Without question it’s one of my personal favorite joints in the past few months. The only thing that would have made me any happier prior to today would have been to see a quality video for it. And just like that today on April 10th, Stat Quo drops a new visual on us. If you like the song you can find it on Stat Quo’s latest project “ATLA: All This Life Allows, Vol. 1” that’s available now via itunes, amazon, & a variety of other outlets.

StatQuo – “That’s Life†(Part II) [Prod. By Bink]
There’s a rule (somewhere): If there’s a ‘Part 1’ there’s got to be a ‘Part 2.’ So it is with StatQuo’s recent release – “That’s Life†(Part I). Of course, producer Bink laid the track, and (below) Stat continued the lyrical slaughter with “That’s Life” (Part II). Now… listen.

“Somebody gotta waiter. Somebody gotta cater.” – StatQuo
Consider yourself served! Here’s the video for that first StatQuo shot – “That’s Life†(Part I) – we posted days ago. Stat told his producer Bink he couldn’t help but kill it. Done.
FUPM (Bobby Creekwater x Stat Quo) – “Old School New School” [Video]
Director Derek Deems knows what to do. Bobby Creekwater and Stat Quo (pka FUPM) definitely do work over a sweet John Frederick Harper III beat. But it needs… it needs… a little something more. A touch of honey. Thick honeys, on a sunny afternoon drive to the beach… PLUS the dope track. Now, it’s an “Old School New School” party folks! By the way, the duo’s LP “FUPM Is the Future” is out on iTunes right now.
Stat Quo – “Michael”
Stat Quo promises to come back to soloing strong with his new album “ATLA” (“All This Life Allows”). No doubt to whet appetites and build interest, the emcee dropped this bonus cut for the project called “Michael” (produced by Tone Mason). LISTEN to this! Interesting approach & concept suggested by the song title.
Wiz Khalifa – “Far From Coach” feat. The Game x Stat Quo
Pittsburgh’s finest Wiz Khalifa drops a pretty dope song off via his twitter page featuring The Game & Stat Quo. This song ‘Far From Coach’ is another setup joint to get fans ready for his upcoming album “O.N.I.F.C.†due August 28th. I’m diggin’ this joint right here. Now that’s a good ‘audio high’….

FUPM (Bobby Creewater x StatQuo) – “Money, Purp, & Beaches”
I’m just gonna go ahead & pat myself on the back again for suggesting years ago that these two ATL cats become a group together because dammit if most of the joints they’ve leaked so far as FUPM have been pretty good. Here’s another new joint called “MoneyPurpAndB*tches” from Atlanta’s own Bobby Creekwater & Stat Quo officially known as FUPM (F*ck You Pay Me)….

FUPM – “Blast Off” (Video)
I said it before & I’ll saying it again…..I always knew that Atlanta’s Bobby Creekwater & Stat Quo would make a pretty dope duo in hip hop if they joined forces. This pretty dope looking video directed by Daniel Czernilofsky of BLKDMNDS & song “Blast Off” is another example of the great things this new group “F*ck U Pay Me”(FUPM)Â have potential to do. No doubt it’s more than evident that “Blast Off” is more than just a dope video & lyrically ill song, but is a metaphor of where they’re careers can go collectively if they keep dropping creatively dope stuff like this….
FUPM (Bobby Creekwater x Stat Quo) – “Alright, Alright” (Video)
I didn’t fully put together the name of Bobby Creekwater & Stat Quo’s new group name until someone told me in the comments section. SMDH how I didn’t figure out that FUPM could also mean F.U Pay Me…Hahaaa! Check out this new video from Atlanta’s own Bobby Creekwater & Stat Quo for “Alright, Alright” with a special appearance from that Cali kid Kendrick Lamar….

Bobby Creekwater x Stat Quo (FUPM) – “Alright Alright”
I’ve said it on my radio show & to friends several times in the past that Atlanta’s Bobby Creekwater & Stat Quo should have been a group together. At one point they even had the same management team & were both signed to either Eminem’s Shady Records & Dr. Dre’s Aftermath labels. They were also both emcees from Atlanta who focused on the more lyrical side of the music as opposed to the dumbed down stuff around them that was being released in the city. The new Atlanta duo concept was a glaringly apparent no brainer that they could have capitalized on years earlier so I didn’t understand why no one ever considered putting them together while they also pursued their solo careers. Don’t know if my thoughts eventually got back to them, but I’m diggin this first song from them as group called “Alright, Alright”. Only thing I’m not diggin is the name of their group so far as “FUPM”. I’m not sure at the moment what the acronym “FUPM” stands for but hopefully it has a significant meaning. As long as the music is dope everything else should fall into place……..alright alright
