R&B/Soul: Jesse Boykins III – “Our Tonight is Mine” (Video)
A lot of R&B these days is non quality. Â I like my R&B singers to not sound like rappers and Jesse Boykins III is still making good R&B. Â The thing is you can have sensual lyrics without telling a lady “Pull your panties to the side & Drop it to the floor” , what you mostly hear on the radio these days. Well the track “Our Tonight is Mine” off Jesse’s Love Apparatus album talks to the ladies in a subtle but sexy way. Â The video features Jesse Boykins and Swedish model Amanda Looma while all of this takes place in the car in a parking garage. Â I know Jesse is happy with the director because he gets to kiss and feel on a hot swedish model while singing to her. Â Wait a minute just checked the credits video Written & Directed by Jesse Boykins III (Well played Jesse, well played) Parking Lot Loving!

Richelle L. Brown aka Cornbread – ‘Shine’ (Video)
Dope joint I ran across from ATLien soul singer/songwriter/producer Richelle L. Brown aka Cornbread. I never heard of her before until about a month ago when I overheard someone mention her name and speak about how ill a performance of hers was they just seen . I got a chance to witness recently at a local show which turned out to be extremely dope. From there I was hooked and decided I need to dig into her catalogue and get hip to more of her stuff. With only an EP out titled “The Example Project”,her music is very eclectic without being too “out there”, but also creative enough not to sound like your everyday ordinary sh@t. Another talented piece in the Atlanta music scene jumbo pot.Hopefully we can here more from this sista soon. Peep and Enjoy!
