Another goodie in the inbox!
Dirty Drum Academy Alum Lex Boogie From the Bronx hits us with a new series of instrumental/beat tapes; the first installment of which entitled “Live From Lexington Station Season 1.”
Inspired by life and the ability to create I decided to put some of my energy into a series of beat tapes.Â
As a creator, I needed an outlet to just have fun and make some incredible music. In the studio, a lot of ideas get tossed around and never see the light of the day with this series it allows me to share some of these ideas/beats that come from experimentation practice or just a good vibe in the studio.
As always, shout to Lex for keeping us in the loop with the beat loop projects like this. Enjoy!

Good to see. DEFINITELY! New perspectives on comedy, no filter as far as we can see. We saw it from Donald Glover (“Atlanta” on FX is really good). Now, we see Issa doing her thing…on HBO! Watch the full ep. Not a trailer. No bootleg. Straight from Issa herself.
In the wake of her 29th birthday, Issa Dee and her best friend Molly reconsider their life choices.
Watch the half-hour comedy series Insecure, starring Issa Rae, Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis and Lisa Joyce. Created and executive produced by Issa Rae, this eight-episode series is also executive produced by Prentice Penny, Melina Matsoukas, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Beck, Jonathan Berry, and Larry Wilmore as a consultant.
Insecure airs Sundays at 10:30PM on HBO.

A firm date has now been set. That new Donald Glover series “Atlanta” is coming to the FX network September 6, 2016. The announcement hit the Twits just recently. Found a new trailer, too. Check it out above.
Get up. Atlanta, FX’s new series from Donald Glover, premieres September 6th. Starring and created by Donald Glover, Atlanta revolves around two cousins on their way up through the Atlanta rap scene whose opposing views on art versus commerce, success and race will make their quest anything but easy.
