In the streets or on the beach, I could kill ’em in the booth.
Ohhhh damn! Are you hearing that evil A-L-C beat come in?? That beat called for a track MONSTER, like the kind that fights Godzilla and tears up Tokyo every so often!
Oh, it’s Conway (and Q) coming to wreck? Say less! “Lulu” is on the way!

ScHoolboy Q Vs. The World’s Hottest Hot Wings (Video)
Interesting talk about ScHoolboy Q battling depression… with golf! And he and Sean hit some HOT wings while he talks about hitting a $10,000 birdie.
ScHoolboy Q is a five-time Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling artist. Every album he drops is a marquee event in Hip-Hop, and his most recent release, “CrasH Talk,” is no different. But how is he with spicy food? Find out as the L.A.-bred emcee discusses his love of golf, his disdain for “Pokemon rap,” and his favorite shabby-shabu restaurant. As the Scovilles crank, the animal hat comes off, the sweats starts pouring, and ScHoolboy Q earns newfound levels of respect for YG and Sean Evans.

Rewind: Kendrick Lamar’s Breakout Performance in Atlanta 2011 (Video)
Before he was selling out The Tabernacle (historic concert venue in ATL) or playing Music Midtown, one of the largest festivals in Atlanta, a young Kendrick Lamar rocked the stage at the Masquerade back on April 2, 2011. Well before his albums “GKMC” and “To Pimp A Butterfly“, young “KDot” made noise & grew his fanbase off of his mixtapes.  I was in attendance for this show along with my radio co-host Jayforce to see him perform.  We were guests for Kendrick’s show in part because our program The Beatz & Lyrics Show was the first show playing Kendrick’s music in Atlanta on a regular basis & we also conducted his first Atlanta radio interview. So naturally we looked forward to finally seeing him in person.  He did not disappoint it’s crazy to look back now because Ali, his famed engineer, was his DJ that night and his hype man was Schoolboy Q who at the time was only known by a few die hard TDE fans. This particular show was Kendrick’s official breakout show in Atlanta when you knew he was going to be a star on a larger level. Kendrick made a lot of fans that night and it doesn’t surprise me at all the success he has gained.  So check out this vintage footage I shot of him rocking the crowd before the albums, before the baby twist dreads, & before the worldwide acclaim.

Schoolboy Q Tells Bomani Jones & Dan Lebatard Some ‘Highly Questionable’ Statements About Kathy Griffin (Video)
At the very least you should be clicking and watching the embedded video above because ‘Highly Questionable’ has not failed to entertain and engage us yet. However, this Schoolboy Q episode… yeah click and play. A history in the streets, in sports, in gangs, in jail, back into banging on the block… all before Hip-Hop… the Black Hippie just lays it on out… kinda like his ‘Secret Lover’ comedienne Kathy Griffin (WHAT?)
The Top Dawg Entertainment recording artist joined Highly Questionable [on ESPN2] with Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones.
Mac Miller – “Melt” feat. ScHoolboy Q (Prod. By Pete Rock)
Got to love when emcees drop worthy verses for a producer they truly appreciate. You know a Pete Rock beat alone was grounds for calling a song official back in the Golden Era. Mac Miller and ScHoolboy Q flow on this “Melt” (produced by Pete Rock) like they know, too. Hear ’em out below.
