MTV Cribs Retro Rewind: Back To Redman’s Newly Renovated House (Video)

One of the greatest MTV Cribs segments EVER was when the cameras visited Redman at his Staten Island home. It was one of the most memorable & hilarious episodes on television. As we now are in 2014, MTV Cribs went back to Redman’s house to see how he has now upgraded & ‘Beyonce’d out’ his home since 2001. Some people may have laughed AT Redman back in 2001 when his hilarious MTV Cribs segment aired, but when you think of the hundreds of recording artists who went broke or filed for bankruptcy trying to impress fans on the show it’s clear that Redman was the true winner even if his home is rather modest. Meek Mill’s Artist ‘Lil Snupe’ Battles DeSean Jackson’s Artist ‘Retro’ For $10,000 (Video)

“After T.I.’s private listening party at Sigma Sounds (located in Philadelphia, Pa) there was a rap battle. The battle was between Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers artist Lil Snupe (from Louisiana) against Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson‘s Jaccpot artist Retro (from West Philly). Meek Mill and DeSean put up $10,000 each on their artist. While T.I., Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, Trae Tha Truth and T.I.’s cousin Rashad (who the movie ATL is based on). Everyone agreed to 5 rounds of rapping for the two artists. At the end, when all of the judges expressed why they chose Lil Snupe (Dream Chasers) the winner, DeSean Jackson left the room.
