We talk with artist Jeffrey Wilson who hails from the Cayman Islands about his newest hit single called “Desert Rose”. We speak about collaborating with Chino McGregor and working with Nicky B, who are both young veterans in the reggae fraternity. We then joke about the making of the video and he how the line up of females were diverse just like his talent. Salute to his management team and we look forward to some new music in 2012.

After the success of part one, Jah Prince was asked to mix another for the African and European markets with tracks that the company loves. Chris Martin just coming back from another performance in Kenya, gets to ride the wave off this song off the Cardiac Strings Riddim produced by CR203 Records. Check the storyline and the theme, ‘not the first and not the last, look how much pretty girls a pass’, ‘please don’t let me cheat on my girl-friend’. I like the small detail at the very end of the video too..Hahaaa!

We speak on him being underrated by many people in the music industry, even in Jamaica and then about him singing more music for females even if he does not actually pen the lyrics himself. We speak on his Reggae Sumfest performance in Jamaica and also when Beenie Man called him out on stage in New York City during the ‘Reggae Rhythm & Blues‘.
We talk about his song ‘Tun Up D Ting‘ on the Overproof Riddim, one of the hottest dancehall riddims of the Summer 2011 produced by Justus.

I’ve been telling people that Sean Paul is still very valid in the Dancehall community just like Shaggy and Sean Kingston. No matter how much the online media promote riddims and passa passa about the other leading artists, there are just a few that ‘ACTUALLY DO THINGS‘ properly.
Check out the world premiere of Sean Paul’s new music video for “Got 2 Luv U”, which features the beautiful miss Alexis Jordan! The video was shot at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, and was directed by Ben Mor. The Song was also featured on the ‘Face Off Fridays’ monthly promo cd passed out to fans of the monthly event.
