Phonte Reviews ‘Red Tails’ For his ‘Movie In A Minute’ Series (Video)
I went to see the movie “Red Tails” because I believe it’s a very important film not just for African Americans, but for all Americans in knowing more about the history & sacrifices made by the Tuskeegee Airmen who the film is largely based upon. Phonte continues his “Movie In A Minute” film review for 2012 with his thoughts on Red Tails that hit theaters last friday January 20th. I agree with Phonte’s commentary 100% in this clip. His thoughts are exactly what I was thinking after catching the movie over the weekend. I purposely didn’t say anything on twitter, because I didn’t want to influence anyone NOT to see the film. I expected more, but still understood the importance of the film & for people to go & support it.

Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody (Video)
While George Lucas, the creater of Star Wars, is out promoting the upcoming movie Red Tails, the porn industry is doing a big budget (by porn standards) of their own for their parody of the blockbuster Star Wars film. Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody is due to be released this month. I always found it to be hilarious when porn companies remake popular films as a porn flick & give it a “porno title.” Unlike Hollywood’s lack of interest in funding Lucas’s lastest Red Tails film, I’m sure the porn industry are already in the process of funding their own “Red Tails” parody with black actors as we speak. We interviewed porn star Lexingston Steele, who plays Darth Vader in this flick, not too long ago & I believe this was one of the films he told us about. For those of you afraid to watch the preview, don’t worry the above video trailer is safe for work…

George Lucas Says Hollywood Didn’t Want To Fund “Red Tails” Because Of Its Black Cast (Video)
George Lucas, known as one of the greatest filmmakers of our time, stopped by the Daily Show with Jon Stewart to promote the new film “Red Tails” that hits theaters January 20th. The Star Wars filmmaker provided some insight as to why Hollywood wouldn’t back the film that’s based on the lives of the Tuskeegee Airmen because the movie’s all black cast.
Red Tails (Movie Trailer III)
I can’t wait to see this movie & in a way I wish it would have opened during the holidays instead of on January 20th 2012, but I’ll be in the theater regardless when it opens. This is the third alternate trailer from the film. Check the briefing below about this particular trailer to the movie…
“1944. As the war in Europe continues to take its toll on Allied forces, the Pentagon brass has no recourse but to consider unorthodox options – including the untried and untested African-American pilots of the experimental Tuskegee training program. Just as the young Tuskegee men are on the brink of being shut down and shipped back home, they are given the ultimate chance to show their courage. Against all the odds, with something to prove and everything to lose, these intrepid young airmen take to the skies to fight for their country – and the fate of the free world.” – Lucasfilms

George Lucas “Red Tails” Film (Trailer)
George Lucas is widely known for his Star Wars series of films over the years, but one of the many projects he’s had in the works over the last 23 years has been the upcoming film “Red Tails” based on the true story of the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II. I’m really looking forward to this film when it’s released in January of next year not only because of its historical significance, but also in how the Lucasfilm magic is employed in the special effects. The action in this trailer sequence is an indication of that at work. The movie stars Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard, Method Man, Ne-Yo, & Nate Parker and is directed by “Treme’s” Anthony Hemingway.
