Headkrack talks Radio,TV, & The Nature of Show Business on Odell’s Roundtable

If you are an intricate part of a top rated morning show that is syndicated all over the US. Someone would think that it was something you were a natural at. Then couple that with being on a top rated TV show that airs five times a week. Most people would think that it just all came together nicely. Well Headkrack is someone who is on a top rated morning show (The Rickey Smiley Morning Show), on TV (Dish Nation) five times a week and it didnt just fall in his lap. He joined ArtbyOdell on Odell’s Roundtable to discuss his journey and what it took to get here. He is not finished and is not someone who is resting on what he has already accomplished. He is a talented emcee and is making a name for himself in all forms of media. In this interview he gives detailed events of how he got on the airwaves in Dallas without any prior radio knowledge. He stated that growing up in the Bronx made him a hustler and he never lost that mentality. Check out the interview and let Headkrack & Odell know what you think about it!

Seattle Cultural Ambassador & Radio Show Host “J Moore” Needs Your Help In Fight For His Life

Two years ago I visited the city of Seattle, WA to cover the Bumbershoot music festival. I knew some friends that moved from Atlanta to Seattle but no Radio/Media people. I only knew DJ Hyphen from interacting online and listening to Hyphen & J Moore on the Sunday Night Sound Session show. Well not only did I meet these good brothers they invited me on the show and connected me with great people in the Seattle scene. With J Moore’s help I met DJ DV One and Seattle artists, promoters, and more. If you know J Moore then you know that he is a stand up man who loves his Family, promotes great Music and always pushes the culture forward. He is battling some serious health issues at the current time and his family has started a GoFundMe page to assist with medical bills.

As many of you know, Jon underwent a kidney transplant a few years ago that helped save his life, Caitlin was his donor.
Over the last few years he has been taking medication and is being followed closely by his doctors to ensure that his body accepts the new organ.
Over the last few months, Jon’s health has begun deteriorating, and he has suffered a kidney rejection.  This week Jon took a turn for the worst, and he ended up in the ICU wth a lung infection that has also become systemic and was in his blood stream. He is now hospitalized and recieving several antibiotics, IV fluids, oxygen therapy, and more diagnostic tests to help understand the nature of his illness.

Â It is not truly that simple, yes technology gives everyone the chance to do their own thing without corporate restraints but it still needs to be quality. Â A podcast that does a good job of having good dialogue and quality guests is the Str8outdaden show by J Good. Â He provides a voice to the underground giving them tips on how to make it and navigate in this Hip Hop game. Â He recently invited Beatz & Lyrics co host ArtByOdell to sit down and talk about a myriad of topics. Â The two brothers discuss how artists can get their music on Blogs, Odell explained hw he got his start in radio and what he has going with his personal podcast “Odell’s RoundTable”. Â It’s a great discussion with plenty of great stories like how Odell got a drop from Killer Mike at the request of Mike’s wife Shay.
