New ethemadassassin music. Calling it “Mercalli” (learn why, and more, with a look below and a listen above).
“Mercalli” is the second single off ethemadassassin’s, “Bear Handz Pt. 1: Magmatic†EP, set to be released May 25, 2018. The project is produced entirely by longtime friends and collaborators, Quake Mobb, out of Raleigh, NC. Quake Mobb’s series of beat “tapes†(@quakemobb) are named after all things related to earthquakes, and “Mercalli” is named after Giuseppe Mercalli, an Italian priest who developed a scale for measuring the intensity of earthquakes.

We got some new ethemadassassin for ya. This “Animal Instinct†with Dawn Gun on there talking hella sh!t to fill the spaces and keep sh!t moving rugged! The single is off the “Bear Handz Pt. 1: Magmatic†EP (due out May 14, 2018). The EP is produced by QuakeMobb, out of Raleigh, North Carolina.
“Animal Instinct†is a street homage to Redman and Hurricane G songs from the Golden Era, when Hurricane G would helm the hook with her own brand of in-your-face bravado and verbal middle fingers, while Redman backed up all her talking with hardbody, smack you in the face, bars.
