Poo Bear – “Hard 2 Face Reality” feat. Justin Bieber x Jay Electronica
Hmmm… “Poo Bear Presents: Birthday Music” huh? Might not have given it a second thought, but that’s probably why artists drop singles. This “Hard 2 Face Reality” brought in Jay Electronica AND Justin Bieber?? On the same track?? Poo Bear covered the whole gamut of music out here in these streets and suburbs with that lineup, right? Undeniable Pop and Hip-Hop on a pretty cool track. Check it.
R&B: Poo Bear – “Work For It” feat. Tyga x Justin Bieber (Video)
Yep. I’ve posted his music before. And as long as Pooh Bear keeps putting ’em out like this… will continue to do so. Good music, this “Work For It” (featuring Tyga). Lots of pop star cameo power dropped in this visual, too. Can’t hate the player for that, right? Ha.
(And the Eye Candy in there. Nice. Won’t hate the player for that!)
R&B: Poo Bear (MDMA) – “#Beats2BreakUp2” (EP)
Jason Boyd, also known as Poo Bear (MDMA), has been in the music business behind the scenes as a singer, songwriter, & producer crafting joints for artists such as Chris Brown, Lupe Fiasco, Wiz Khalifa, Fat Joe, Usher, Kelly Rowland, Redman, Jill Scott, 112, & too many others to name in this post. Wearing many behind the scenes hats, I’m not surprised to find out “MDMA” stands for “Most Devoted Musician Alive”. We’re in a very interesting period of music today as we’re seeing more & more of the creative people who may have been content to just work behind the scenes in the past now stepping out into the forefront as artists. This Las Vegas native just debuted his first official free EP via his website called “#Beats2BreakUp2” featuring 7 tracks of original R&B music including a pretty dope cover of Lauryn Hill’s classic “Sweetest Thing”. I’ve had this EP run a few times since I downloaded it from his website. Check out the tracklisting below, listen to a few key tracks we put up & download the full project below…..
“MOTIONS”
“HOLDING ON TO NOTHING”
“ALONE”
