Dope! Got more news on the Icon A5 – the 2-seat mini-plane designed to be so simple that anyone who can drive a car can fly it. The sticker weighs in at just over $200K, so it is near the regular people price range (okay, regular people who have quite a bit of big change to throw around). Plus this plane can land on and take off on water. Put in the money, 30 hours’ training, get a license, and viola… your life is ‘fly’ for real #BALLIN

Although the idea of your next flight being struck by lightning may be terrifying, it’s actually pretty common. Every airplane is stuck by lightning about once a year. The lights may flicker, but thanks to some smart engineering, the danger is low.

The Icon A5 aircraft is a collapsible seaplane straight from a James Bond movie! Intuitive design (e.g. almost anyone could learn to fly it quickly), portable (no more trouble to transport than towing a speedboat with a hitch)… can run on regular fuel… Man! Now, if they could drop that sticker price a touch. Incredible tech (and ‘big boy’ toy) right here.

Kanye West’s Dancers ‘Runaway’ Flash Mob Their Australian Flight (Video)

What?? Where is the Air Marshall? Hahaaa! All of a sudden, dancers who were part of Kanye West’s Australian Tour 2012… did a choreographed dance routine… on an airplane… in flight! Where’s the choreographer, Yemi AD? Filming the @#$! thing, of course. This is crazy! But… there are worse “takeover situations” that could happen on a plane. I’ll bet folks were quickly able to get over an in-flight flash mob of beautiful women.
