Papoose – “Darkside” (Video)
Pap gave that clown a different costume… He gotta wear that ‘L’… Haha! Dope video. This “Darkside” heralds the coming of the “Hoodie Season 3” mixtape.
(And before it gets cold enough for Hoodie Season… one more look at the hottest thang to hit the stage this past Summer. Remy! Whew, Papoose is one lucky dude.)
Papoose – “What’s Going On” (Prod. By The Stick)
Two real pieces of genius right off the top: The Stick flipping that Marvin Gaye classic “What’s Going On” for Papoose to ride on AND Pap’s line about the police gun range silhouette being black, as though they were TRAINING to shoot Black people (damn). Check this out!
(Oh… and the artwork face paste-ins… Officer Trump.)

Papoose – “Hold The City Down” (Prod. By DJ Premier)
Is it Preem’s beats that make emcees beast out on a track; or is it that he only allows beast mode emcees to bless his beats? So far, the result has been win-win. Latest exhibit of that: This new Papoose jawn “Hold The City Down.” Dope! Plus, a bonus… FREE download!

Comedy: Papoose Pranks Aspiring Rappers (Video)
Bwaaahahaaa! Okay, this was cruel AND funny at the same damn time. Pap surprised up-n-comers Doc Nice, S-Class, Big Tyni, and Lord Kas at the studio; then in the booth. They were recording, trying to get out there. And here comes the diss king throwing shots through the mic at them…totally unexpected. Caught ’em raw. Watch the clip. Watch their faces. HEAT!
Yeah, if the prank went on too long it would have gone from remixes to mixing it up with a couple of the rappers and Pap (maybe… got some apologies when he fronted ’em though… wow).

Papoose – “The Plug†(Prod. By DJ Premier)
Over the DJ Premier track, and Preemo scratches, Papoose comes through with the “The Plug,â€Â for his forthcoming album, “You Can’t Stop Destiny” (due out July 17, 2015). So now you know DJ Premier will be on the LP. Of course, Remy Ma gonna be on it. Then there’s the likes of Havoc, Ron Browz, Troy Ave and more. Hold on a li’l while longer until then. Run this for now (links below).

Papoose revisits some classic N.O.R.E. for his Throwback Freestyle Series. The posse track “Banned From TV†(featuring Nature, Big Pun, Cam’ron, Jadakiss and Styles P) provided the framework this rework entitled “Banned From Radio.â€
Papoose – “No Love”
One time for those who love Hip-Hop. Papoose got you with this “No Love”… but for the rest, get that from somewhere else. Haaa. Rock out to this!

Papoose – “Control” (Freestyle)
Papoose comes into the fray with a worthwhile response to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Big Sean’s “Control.” Pap doesn’t stop at Kendrick either… Lamar’s TDE fam, Big Sean, Kanye West, Drake… everybody can get it. Check out his “Control” freestyle here.

Papoose – “2012 Obituary”
Brooklyn rap artist Papoose returns with his yearly “Obituary” tribute record he dedicates to those talented & special people we’ve lost in the previous year. This go around he reflects on the lives of Whitney Houston, Don Cornelius, Rodney King, Hector “Macho” Camacho, & several others whose light was cut short. May they rest in peace. According to HHNM there’s more music from Papoose slated for March 5th as he’s now poised to release his oft-delayed “Nacirema Dream” album.
Papoose Says Nas ‘Annihilated’ Jay-Z in Their Lyrical Battle (Video)
In a recent interview, Papoose talks about the recent battle with Common Vs. Drake & also speaks on one of the greatest battles to have ever occured in hip hop between Nas & Jay-Z. I have to agree with Pap that Nas did indeed ‘Ether’ Jay-Z in that battle.
