My peoples at Bad Magics hit me with another one! New De La Soul and DJ Shadow collabo off that new “Our Pathetic Age” album.
“Rocket Fuel†is a hard-charging reemergence for DJ Shadow, long celebrated as a pivotal artist in experimental, instrumental Hip-Hop. The song explodes with stacks of vocal samples, horns, Shadow’s dazzling DJ scratch work and a muscular performance from the legendary rap crew De La Soul.

DJ Shadow – “Drone Warfare” feat. Nas x Pharoahe Monch

As dope as both these emcees are, they have never collaborated before now. But now Queens finally meets Queensbridge. Not gonna expend energy trying to figure out why it took so long to get them together on a track like this… gonna save that for the head-nodding and face-scrunching. Dope!
