There has been a lot of talk lately about the word Nigga, Nigger, the N word whatever you want to call it. Â Discussions have been taken place on cable channels with whites and blacks discussing who can use the word what context it should be used in etc. Â Not to mention recent chants by college fraternity students at the University of Oklahoma where they made disgusting derogatory chants about hanging black people from trees. Â Well Zo Williams took the time on his Zo What show to tackle the word from the inside out. Â He went back to the true origin of the word and discussed ways that we have given it power and other ways where we might not know the power the word holds. Â Zo also had his co host Geoff Brown, along with guests Bobby Glanton, Corey Holcomb, and Freez Luv. Â I think you will be informed and surprised after watching this thought provoking episode.

Interesting. I agree with Charles Barkley (above) & I agree with Michael Wilbon (after the jump). What came up around recent discussion/debate regarding the NFL’s Richie Incognito’s alleged bullying of Miami Dolphin Jonathan Martin has jumped the fence… from the National Football League to commentary from one of the greats of the National Basketball Association… to [once again] a national conversation. Ernie had Shaq chiming in near the end of the clip, too. Watch.

David Banner Responds To A White Female Rap Artist Who Dissed Him (Video)

Female rap artist V-Nasty, who just so happens to be white, has been using the word “Nigga” in her songs & in interviews took issue with David Banner & dissed him in a song with the quote “How a white bitch more hood then David Bannerâ€. David Banner responds to the disses on Sway’s morning show on Sirius XM. No need for me to write a long diatribe of my thoughts here, but let’s just say I support David Banner 100% with his comments that follow….More video below

Fat Joe Says The First Time He Met Al Sharpton He Called Him ‘N*gga’ (Video)

Fat Joe says in this interview that he believes everyone should be able to use the word “N*gga”. I understand the connected history of Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Jamaicans, Haitians & other brothas & sistas from the islands with African ancestry, but I don’t believe it’s for everyone to be saying. The average white person saying “Wasup My N*gga?!” with whom I don’t know would strike a nerve with me. I don’t agree with Fat Joe entirely, but he’s entitled to his opinion. The really eye opening part of this story is when Fat Joe speaks on his first time ever meeting the Reverend Al Sharpton.

I have to agree with Phonte & 9th Wonder on the use of the word ‘N*gga’ by other racial groups. If you don’t have any melanin in your skin you’re really taking a risk with your safety. If you’re not related to me then don’t say it to me because it could be easily taken out of context. Simple as that.
