Neak has to “Fight.” for life, because what is better? What is more important?
Through the rumble, whine and chaos of this beat he laid down, AND the lyrics he laced on top of that, Neak is trying to get us all to realize the ‘what’ and ‘why’ we have to “Fight.”.

The essence of the LEGACY video is to highlight musical greats before me who’ve created the platform for our generation to freely be who we are. Without the likes of legends such as James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, 2Pac, etc. there would not be a space for artists like myself to create. This music video is to honor the Legacy laid before us within the music industry.

Well, well. Neak dropped this “XIII” blessing in the inbox, and we gave it a spin ’round the block. And viola! Now’s it’s on here for all y’all to love. Proclaimed a precursor to to the upcoming project “Paura/Amore” (due out this Spring), “XIII” boasts production by Slot-A, Rashid Hadee, The Renegades, J-Rell, Mulatto Patriot, Wes P, Mischief, and Jon Content. Vocal features include Psalm One, Sincerely Yours, Daryn Alexus, Wes Restless, F.A.B.L.E. and more.

This beat was submitted for Kanye’s Graduation album but he passed on it. Years later Chi-Town rapper Neak teams with producer Rashid Hadee to bring this dope beat to the public. Hadee flips the this beat something serious and he is quietly becoming one of my favorites.
