Eric Bellinger – “Dirty Dancing” feat. Ne-Yo (Video)
Fun visuals (“It’s rabbit season, homie. Give it up!”) right from the start. A lot of Eye Candy and R&B power packed into the song, too. Another one off the “Eazy Call” album to check for now.
Ne-Yo – “Good Man” (Video)
Visual for the title track from Ne-Yo’s latest LP (“Good Man”).
Ne-Yo – “Good Man” (Album)
New Ne-Yo. Heard the title track on here back in February, right? Time for the whole plate now. “Good Man”… good album… Check it out and see if you want to add it to your good Summer play bin.
On his seventh studio album, GOOD MAN, Ne-Yo travels the globe for inspiration. He rides Jamaican rhythms with Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don on “Push Back.†Latin crooner Romeo Santos drops by on the sunny, bilingual ballad “Nights Like These.†As for his R&B bread and butter, “1 More Shot†and “Summertime†juxtapose his usual sophisticated touch with subtle trap influences.

Ha! Go’on ‘head then player! The Chosen dropped them lines in this jawn!
I just wanna pick the phone up every time you call…
I wanna be chillin’ with Obama talkin’ business, see your call, and tell him…
“Hold up. I gotta take this.”
Let the world wait.
R&B: Ne-Yo – “Another Love Song†(Video)
Dope visuals for that single “Another Love Song†from Ne-Yo that we posted a while back. Incredible Eye Candies and dance moves in this. Cameo or two. Fun to watch.
(His date plays the ‘pretty AND petty’ perfectly in this, too. Did you take one of my berries? Hahaaa!)
R&B: Ne-Yo – “Another Love Song”
Nice up-tempo work by singer/songwriter Ne-Yo. A soulful R&B loosey you’re gonna wanna nod and even dance to. It’s not just “Another Love Song” even if that’s what dude is known for and what the title says.
Ne-Yo – “Earn Ur Love”
Ne-Yo is singing, “Some things are beyond a price tag” and that he feels pain for the woman who gives it up for a new purse. Wanting a woman who knows what she is really worth is some grown man ‘ish for certain; a grown man who is a new husband and father… Like Ne-Yo.
A Good Man will earn you. He’ll work for it and won’t mind working for it because he recognizes your worth. Ladies, find a man that’ll “Earn Your Love.” Enjoy this appetizer guys. Album coming soon.
– Ne-Yo
Oh, don’t worry. Ne-Yo quoted some Tupac in “Earn Ur Love,” too. Still sort of a player; just not crushing a lot [of other women] anymore (haaa). Good music here.
(So who’s the wifey that walked that aisle with the R&B bachelor? Well, she is some Eye Candy we posted on before… Crystal Renay… But @ItsCrystalSmith now.)
Jadakiss – “Ain’t Nothing New” feat. Ne-Yo x Nipsey Hussle (Video)
One of my favorites songs from Jadakiss’s latest album #T5DOA (“Top 5 Dead Or Alive”) gets a brand new video featuring R&B singer Ne-Yo & the West Coast kid Nipsey Hussle. Peep it out.

R&B: Ne-Yo – “Coming With You” (Video)
Definite banger for the dance clubs worldwide. Can see this “Coming With You” by Neyo jumping off internationally easily. Nice scenery in this vid, too though. Lots of eye candy featured at a day (and night) at the beach. The single is off Neyo’s forthcoming “Non-Fiction” LP (due out on iTunes on January 27, 2015). You can put your order in (and get some tracks) now via the link below.
Ne-Yo Visits ‘The Breakfast Club’ To Talk About His New Single and Returning To His R&B Roots (Video)
Ne-Yo said he’d never be back? Nah, never say never. The Breakfast Club morning show gets special delivery of Ne-Yo’s single “Money Can’t Buy” (featuring Jeezy) from ‘The Gentleman’ himself. Ne-Yo also spoke on new biz, his ‘Behind The Music’ episode, R&B vs. Pop, and more.
R&B/Soul: Marsha Ambrosius – “Without You” feat. Ne-Yo (Video)
Dark matter coming in the form of song from British soul singer Marsha Ambrosius… child molestation related in this powerful video for her single “Without You” (featuring Ne-Yo). Be on the lookout Marsha’s “Friends & Lovers” LP (due out 2014). The single is out now on iTunes though; so you can get that immediately, if you like.
Ne-Yo – “Luxurious” feat. Future (Prod. By Jesse ‘Corporal’ Wilson)
This joint stops just short of R&B. It’s good. Just listen to it with that ear, okay? “Luxurious” (produced by Jesse ‘Corporal’ Wilson) pairs an industry vet and a relative rookie by comparison – Ne-Yo and Future – both guaranteed hit makers. Smooth with the roughness. Definitely sexy content, but more lovey without too much dovey. Check it out.

Ne-Yo – “The Way You Move” feat. T-Pain & Trey Songz (Video)
I’m really diggin’ the visual aspects of this new Ne-Yo joint. All too often we see videos of artists spending money in the strip clubs, but this joint right here has a certain level of “James Bond” type of class to it. This makes every “average rapper in the strip club throwing money video” appear like a visual hole in the wall. By the interior of the building it looks like they shot this video here in Atlanta at the new Diamonds which is one of the newer strip clubs among a hundred of them around city. The video makes me dig the song even more…
Ne-Yo feat. Mavado – I Know You Want Me (Remix) [Video]
Ne-Yo is making good on his attempts to further reggae music around the world with his new Compound Island label dedicated to breaking Jamaican artists. One of the first songs he recorded was the “I Know You Want Me” remix with Mavado. Although Mavado isn’t exactly a new artist in anyway, their collaboration is a quality start in setting the tone for the new movement. I first heard this remix about a month ago, but I didn’t expect a video for this joint to drop. I’m not mad at it either. Ya Dun Know!
Mavado – “I Know You Want Me” Remix feat. Ne-Yo
Mavado links up with Ne-Yo for the the remix to ‘I Know You Want Me’ which sounds pretty dope. Found myself replaying it several times after the first listen. Apparently Ne-Yo is wasting no time in working with many established talented artists like Mavado in the reggae/dancehall community, but he’s also getting his new reggae label Compound Island off the ground & into a great start in discovering new Jamaican artists. I’ve said it before that Ne-Yo’s decision to assist in discovering & nurturing great Jamaican talent is a smart move because reggae music really is a global music genre.
George Lucas “Red Tails” Film (Trailer)
George Lucas is widely known for his Star Wars series of films over the years, but one of the many projects he’s had in the works over the last 23 years has been the upcoming film “Red Tails” based on the true story of the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II. I’m really looking forward to this film when it’s released in January of next year not only because of its historical significance, but also in how the Lucasfilm magic is employed in the special effects. The action in this trailer sequence is an indication of that at work. The movie stars Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard, Method Man, Ne-Yo, & Nate Parker and is directed by “Treme’s” Anthony Hemingway.
Ne-Yo Does Benefit Concert In Nagoya, Japan (Video)
Ne-Yo did a benefit concert for Japan yesterday & is one of the first R&B artists to get things in motion over there. On my radio show last week I interviewed Nate of Boyz II Men who mentioned that they too had a benefit in the works for the Japanese people affected by the recent disasters out there. Japan is arguably a huge supporter of R&B music abroad so it’s great to see artists already working to give back. Big ups to Ne-Yo for this & also for a doing a decent job in the new movie Battle: LA I saw at the theater too…..
