If you follow me on the radio pretty closely you may have remembered me playing this song from Rashad called “The Return”. My homie Supa Mariooo who represents Rashad gave me an advance copy of the very dope “Museum” album from the singer, writer, & producer & “The Return” was one of the standout tracks I told them they should make a single. I ran several dope tracks on the radio with their permission & I’m glad to see they appreciated my input. The video was shot in one take, in Columbus Ohio & represents a return to real music & a golden age that has been long forgotten. Can’t wait for y’all to hear the rest of this very dope album….

Shout out to his manager & my good homie Supa Mariooo who gave me an advance listen of the quality project. Rashad has largely been the background crafting joints for many R&B & hip hop artists over the years, but with his new label Elev8torMusic I’m positive many people will be pleasantly surprised at this “Musuem” album when it drops. Rashad Thomas is a talented producer, singer, & songwriter from Ohio who people maybe familiar with his work with fellow Ohio rap artist & Maybach Music Group signee Stalley. Rashad produced Stalley’s critically acclaimed project “Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music)” project. One of the homies I’ve known for several years by the name of Super Mario manages Rashad & Stalley & I was fortunate enough to get an advance copy of Rashad’s dope R&B album entitled “Museum” that’s dropping late December or January of 2012. Make sure y’all check for that when it drops because I’m still playing key songs off of that joint like “The Return”, “Headphones”, & the Jodeci inspired “I Wanna Love You” since I received a copy of the project. Not able to post any of those joints yet so y’all will have to wait. In this particular interview above Rashad speaks on his creative process & plans to be an all around force in the music game….
