See this? You might say it looks ridiculous? But you know what is ridiculous, but true? The last state did not legally abolish slavery until 1995. Surprised? That last state was Mississippi (still surprised). Hold your jokes. It was 20 years ago…
A segment from Michael Moore’s TV Nation (1994) that focuses on Mississippi finally getting around to ratifying the 13th amendment to the US constitution – 130 years later. Correspondent Rusty Cundieff races down to Mississippi to try to buy some slaves before the law goes into effect.

But wait, wanna guess which state is having a runoff, now, in 2018 for a Senate seat between a Black Democrat and a White Republican… who PUBLICLY said she would attend a hanging… while she was campaigning???? Yeah, same state, M-I-crooked letter-W-T-F’n Mississippi!!

The controversial filmmaker Moore has never had a problem calling it how he sees it. And in keeping with the lifted quote above, Moore is holding those who support the racist ralliers and those of their ilk – whether gathered at the Take ‘Murica Back rally in Charlottesville or not – just as guilty. Because #BlackLivesMatter or #AllLivesMatter or whatever matters to you aside, the venomous speech, vitriolic tone and victimization of those hurt by Neo-Nazi words and a wildly driven car… well, that all happened. And if you are not denouncing that, you are tacitly supporting it.

Yep. Rosanne is making a run for the White House for real. She is seriously on the campaign trail, and why, even at first glance, is that any more ridiculous than a Trump 2016 run?

It’s 2012 and Barr, fed up with corporate influence in politics, takes matters into her own hands when she launches a third-party Presidential bid founded on grassroots activism. Above: The first trailer for Michael Moore’s forthcoming documentary – “Where to Invade Next.” Moore is that special kind of crazy that scares the right people (usually on the far right) in the right ways. But this time… no wait, hear him out… this time, he really wants to help. Yeah. Instead of us (you know, U.S. taxpayers) funding the military industrial complex to [defend ‘Murica or expand the ’empire’ – you pick], Moore has volunteered to be the one-man army that does ALL of America’s invading going forward. What do you say, politicians…good idea? Could save billions in defense spending. Just think about it…

Rewind: Michael Moore – “Bowling For Columbine” (Documentary)

In light of the recent tragedy in Colorado involving a domestic terrorist shooting up a crowded movie theater, I immediately thought to myself that this is the second huge incident of gun violence to occur in the Rocky Mountain state. The U.S. has the largest amount of guns per capita in the world & staggering statistics in the amount of people killed every year. There are many other countries around the world with a high amount of guns per capita but their death & injury rates are far lower than the numbers here in the United States. Cities around the U.S. like Chicago are having rising rates of gun violence & far too often African-American males are the victims. It seems the U.S. has a problem that occurs everyday in its cities, but people don’t stop to reflect on it until something huge happens like out west in Colorado. All this week I’m positive the topic of discussion will & should revolve around gun violence. Director & social activist Michael Moore has had his 2002 documentary ‘Bowling For Columbine’ up on the web for free for sometime now & if you’ve never seen it this maybe a something to review before we all try to go back to business as usual on Monday.
