I arrived in Cozumel (Mexico) so excited to see its culture and people. I wasn’t disappointed, from the moment I stepped off the boat. From its vibrant people and colorful marketplaces. After a little shopping and liquor buying!!!! We headed to a private beach area for FOOD, FUN, and RELAXATION. Cozumel is a cool place for both singles and families.
The food in Cozumel is relatively inexpensive. The food has a great flare with a little spice to get ya going. Attractions are plentiful – from parasailing, jet skis, visiting the ruins and private beaches. The markets offer lots of food, trinkets, and other gifts that are cheap. Fifty dollars, and you can bring back tons of gifts for family and friends!

Wow! It’s been forever and a day since we’ve seen WWF’s WWE’s Virgil, muscle and manservant to The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. Whoa wait-a-minute. Manservant? Isn’t that pretty much another term for slave? To get the answer, The Nightly Show correspondent Ricky Velez goes to the former WWE wrestler and former ECW wrestler Tommy Dreamer for some real answers…and some real training…enough to fake it and make it in an actual match…and dares to expose the truth about racism in professional wrestling. Oh, and the answer to that ‘manservant’ question? That’d be a ‘YES.’

Adventures With ArtByOdell : Los Trompos Exhibit at High Museum (Video)

Quite often I get asked why I go by the name of “ArtByOdell” it’s pretty simple really my name is Odell and I am an Artist. Â Art is something I have been passionate about for years and the High Museum here in Atlanta, GA is one of my favorite places to visit. Â So when they had an opening ceremony for their latest Los Trompos exhibit I had to go check it out and cover it for the site. Â The term Los Trompos translates to Spinning Tops in Spanish and they are beautiful interactive pieces made with a special fabric that is very colorful and flexible. Â The artists Hector Esrawe & Ignacio Cadena both hail from Mexico City worked together to bring us these beautiful creations. Â They are featured in video along with my good friend DJ EU who provided the sounds for the day. Â I even ran into the homie Blc Txt a local Hip Hop Artist here in Atlanta, GA. Â The exhibit will run until November 29th 2015 it is located on the campus of the Woodruff Arts Center in the Silly Piazza right outside of the High Museum. Vice: Mexico’s Female Crime Journalists (Video)

In Ciudad Juarez, All of the journalists who cover politics and crime for the Diario de Juarez are women, and they have covered some of the most grotesque, brutal crimes in the world. Fearless. These ladies take it to what, in effect, is the war zone. To get the story and shed light on the horrible crime issue. Vice follows them, in and out of the killing fields and beyond to try to understand why politicians are not doing what it takes to stop any of this.
