Out here writing, rapping, spitting ill poetic… and Quelle Chris still has one straightforward question: WYRM? “Will You Remember Me?” That is the question that pretty much every artist wants to be answered; even if they never explicitly express a desire to know.
“So many of my memories are collections of collages from home videos, photo books and boxes of developed pictures. The lucky few who have escaped the fate of moments lost in disposable cameras. VHS and mini cam tapes. Orphans of history without a home. This particular memory was captured on a Canon 814XL camera and shot with Kodak Super8. Through the lens of Grégoire Verbeke on a lovely afternoon in Brussels. A moment trapped in time. Ageless. Even as we fade. Will you remember?”

Lando Chill talks new album & label signing at Secret Stages (Video: Interview/Performance)

Here at Jayforce.com we love Music Festivals and discovering new talent. So I was invited to cover Secret Stages 2016 a Music Discovery Festival in Birmingham, AL. This is a two day festival with over 75 acts performing on multiple stages. One of the artists I was looking forward to was Lando Chill a young talented Rapper, Singer, Songwriter. He is Chicago born and raised now living in Tuscon and recently signed with Mello Music Group. I caught up with him before his show and discussed his style, inspiration and putting new album out. I also have some live footage of his showcase that I caught while in Birmingham. His new album just released today “For Mark, Your Son” on Mello Music Group available on all digital outlets. I had the pleasure to discover him and his music after this interview you will want to discover more of his music as well.

Track from Philly native & Mello Music Group artist Has-Lo. I’m definitely diggin this joint.
Perfume Trail – That’s produced by Danny Diggs. He was in a relationship and he wanted to make a song for his girl. He wanted it to be special but he doesn’t rhyme so he asked me to take some elements of their relationship story and author them. There are things that they’d hear and recognize, but I also wanted to make it general enough that anyone could enjoy the song. This one’s only a few months old.
