Lupe Fiasco Speaks On Troy Davis Death Sentence at Atlanta Show (Video)
“Lupe Fiasco brings his Lasers Tour to Tabernacle Atlanta. Here, Lupe strips down “Superstar” to address the impending execution (the very next day) of accused cop killer Troy Davis after the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles denied clemency on the day of this Lupe performance. He notes that his fans/followers on Twitter asked him to do so and this is what unfolds.”
Lupe Fiasco Speaks On the Fall of Building 7 on 9/11 & more at the Occupy Wall Street Rally (Video)
“Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change was recently at the Occupy Wall Street event and noticed Lupe Fiasco hanging out with the crowd of protesters. Lupe wanted to know who Luke was and after talking for 20 minutes about the past work of We Are Change and our mission, Lupe gladly agreed to do the interview. Lupe gets into great detail about 911 truth, the new world order and most importantly solutions to the problems we face today. We thank Lupe for not only his words but positivity and knowledge he shares with millions of people through his music.” – WeAreChange.ORG
Lupe Fiasco featuring Trey Songz – ‘Out Of My Head’ (Video)
This joint right here is an official club banger right now…..I’ve noticed people start bouncing to this joint at a few parties & events recently. Trey Songz on the hook is also a definitive good look as well. It seems kinda odd in a way that a socially conscious artist like Lupe who often gets pigeonholed by public perception now has an official club joint. Crazy right?
Lupe Fiasco Appears On Fox News To Debate With Bill O’Reilly (Video)
Props to Yardie for this video…..everyone I know has been waiting for Lupe to speak out on his comments regarding President Obama & the wars talking place. I can see where Lupe may have been going with some of his comments, but it’s clearly evident that Fox News may have edited out some of Lupe’s comments to their own advantage. It would have been a better discussion had it been on-air live.
Lupe Fiasco Starts Working On His Next Album ‘Food & Liquor 2’
Lupe has taken a lot of heat lately but now says he has begun studio work on his next project Food & Liquor 2. Despite your take on Lupe’s politics or his crumby album Lasers, it was a commercial success. Lupe told Billboard that Food and Liquor 2 will build off what he didn’t like about Lasers.
“It’s really taking the lessons I learned from “Lasers,” and applying that to “Food & Liquor.” That’s really it.”
Lupe Fiasco feat. Skylar Grey – ‘Words I Never Said’ (Video)
How can you not respect Lupe for speaking his mind about what’s really going on in the world?! Much respect for to Lupe Fiasco for constantly taking Hip Hop higher especially when you have a voice that can reach millions….
Lupe Fiasco Covers XXL Magazine’s May 2011 Issue
The staff at XXL are starting to put artists I respect on their front covers as of late. I wasn’t upset with the Freshmen 2011 cover when that dropped because I could understand what they were doing with it in terms of the balance amongst the newcomers. I wasn’t mad at the SlaughterHouse, Yelawolf, & Eminem cover & now the folks over there at XXL keeps the integrity going by placing the West Side Chicago kid on the cover for May 2011. Not mad at this one either…..

Lupe Fiasco – ‘Words I Never Said’ feat. Skylar Grey
This is a sure to be controversial song from Lupe Fiasco if the public doesn’t overlook it completely. I’m not shocked by it because I’ve heard these same opinions in barbershops, the streets, & in some suites. Pay attention to the lyrics for something that Lupe Fiasco has been meaning to get off his chest. Just a few ‘Words He Never Said’. Lyrics after the jump….
