Juice WRLD – “Fire In The Booth†(Freestyle) [Video]
Damn it. RIP Juice WRLD.
This is a fire azz freestyle that Charlie Sloth had lying around. Time to let that jawn go. It’s timely, unlike the death of this young talented brother.
Reminisce and enjoy the flows.

Lifestyle: You’re In Los Angeles. You’re High. What Do You Do Next? (Video)
A weed travel show. Excellent idea! And an appropriately laid-back episode to boot.
On VICE’s weed travel show ‘BLUNT REVIEWS,’ we trek to places where weed is legal to review things a cannabis-consuming tourist can do while they’re stoned. On this episode, VICE’s Darlene Demorizi spent a day getting blazed in Los Angeles, where she cured her munchies at Pink’s Hot Dogs, a historic restaurant that tops franks with guacamole and nacho cheese. Then she unwound at Lit Yoga, a THC-friendly studio, and stopped by Puff Pass & Paint to make a little art over a glass of CBD-infused wine.

Opinion: Should Artists Ever ‘Retire’… How Long Is Too Long? (Video)
Our good friends over at Dead End Hip Hop, but here’s my belief…..Never Never Never should artist announce they are retiring. They should pop in & out of the scene and quietly fade away. No announcements because no one likes a burnout.
Should artists retire on top or continue until they fall off? DJBooth’s Yoh (@yoh31) wrote an article a few weeks back discussing this topic. While in Los Angeles, we hooked up with Justin Hunte “The Company Man” (Ambrosia for Heads) and Justin Styles (All Def Music) to lend their thoughts on the topic.

Good talk. But since they asked: What are your thoughts?
J. Keys – “New Year New Day” (Video)
Well we made it to 2017 and let me say Happy New Year on behalf of the entire Jayforcedotcom team. J. Keys would like to help you start off on the right foot in 2017 with his latest track New Year New Day. He reminds you to not just wait for the end of the year to start thinking about change but apply it with each day you are blessed with. The visuals definitely match the track showing him being active in many different locations. So while you are nodding your head to the groove pay attention to the message in the music as well!
This year I’m thinking bigger than the money. I’m trying to get something that you cant take from me. Trying to stay clear of the haters & the dummies. Got you eating salad trying to get rid of your tummy. Man you don’t got to wait to lose weight it don’t cost a thing to have faith.

Watch the 1st Annual Coon Train Awards Tonight 10p Est! (Video Stream)
It’s not the Soul Train Awards it’s the Coon Train Awards that is taking place tonight at the Acme Comedy Theater in Los Angeles, CA. What is the Coon Train Awards aka Plantation Celebration all about? This is the brain child of Filmaker/Author Tariq Nasheed who has commonly used the phrase Coon Train in his lectures. Tariq has even created funny YouTube videos with a Coon Train awards theme song and placing images of certain celebrities in the skits. In some of the videos he has placed Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele, Stacey Dash among many others. If you are not in LA to see the awards in person you can still stream online 10pm Est 7pm Pst. Click Here to go to Tariq Nasheed’s Ustream page where the awards will be shown.
Some of the categories are: Best Sambo in Sports, Mammy of the Year, Biggest Coon in News so there will be plenty of interesting names nominated for these awards. I am sure this will cause quite a discussion watch live and use the hashtag #CoonTrainAwards

Questlove Stops By Amoeba Music In Los Angeles For Some Sounds (Video)
Everytime I’m in L.A. there’s usually a few places I ALWAYS stop by before I leave. One of my key stops used to be the Fat Beats record store on Melrose (RIP). It’s been tough with record stores closing around the country but thankfully Amoeba music is still open. That’s why it’s important to continually support institutions like Amoeba whenever you come to Los Angeles or any of their other locations. Last time I stopped in the the LA store I spent a few hours checking out & purchasing music & DVDs. The Roots drummer Questlove stopped by the store to let the people know ‘What’s In His Bag”. Big shout out to my homegirl Mona Lisa who works over there at Amoeba’s LA location.
