The man Mahershala Ali stays working, doesn’t he? Got the ‘Battle Angel’ movie coming at year’s end, plus this incredible road trip story with co-star Viggo Mortensen… “Green Book.”
When Tony Lip (Mortensen), a bouncer from an Italian-American neighborhood in the Bronx, is hired to drive Dr. Don Shirley (Ali), a world-class Black pianist, on a concert tour from Manhattan to the Deep South, they must rely on “The Green Book†to guide them to the few establishments that were then safe for African-Americans. Confronted with racism, danger—as well as unexpected humanity and humor—they are forced to set aside differences to survive and thrive on the journey of a lifetime.

Always heard this story told and retold (usually as part of an Amway pitch… no shots, just saying). Very interesting though, never thought of Ray Kroc as such a shark. Check out this trailer for “The Founder,” starring Michael Keaton.

Wanna have a fun for almost the entire family good time at the theater? Bet on Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg acting like some fools in “Daddy’s Home.” The trailer is teasing a bunch of laughs; Ferrell, playing a stepdad being foiled at most every turn by bad boy former-but-always-biological-dad played by Wahlberg. Both dads love the kids… just kinda differently. In theaters December 25, 2015.
