Watch King James go through an “appropriate struggle” in naming his Top 4 NBA players of all time. Most noteworthy is who he left off the list. Hmmm…

Chicago Bulls NBA star Derek Rose is set to return to the league following his severe knee injury & from the looks of CNN’s ’90 Seconds With…’ segment he’s supremely confident that’s he’s ready to go. The Chicago native when asked who’s the best player in the NBA right now he without hesitation let it be known that he was indeed the man despite some of the negative press he received for sitting out last season. Yes, confident is how athletes are supposed to be, but in a follow up question he did give a nod to the skill & dominance of “King James”.  Makes for an interesting matchup when their respective teams are speculated to meet again in October. I also like how Derek Rose mentioned Malcolm X as one of his life’s influences. I guess he’s applying the term ‘By Any Means Necessary’ in bringing an NBA championship back to Chicago.

I thoroughly enjoyed this last night as I was rooting for the Miami Heat to keep their historic NBA winning streak alive versus the Boston Celtics. I noticed throughout the game how Boston Celtic’s Jason Terry appeared to be talking trash most of the game but Lebron James’ alley-oop dunk on Jason Terry clearly shifted the momentum of the rest of the game. Lebron’s subtle stare down while Jason Terry was on the ground made this all the more hilarious. #TEAMHEAT

Lebron James: Journey To The Ring (Video)

Lebron James, the greatest basketball player in the NBA today, has probably had the best ever year of his life. King James has won his third NBA league MVP Award, lead his Miami Heat squad to an NBA Championship in which he was also the NBA Finals MVP, & lead the U.S. Men’s Olympic basketball team to Olympic Gold among many other accolades. In fact, Michael Jordan is the only other player to win an N.B.A. championship, N.B.A. most valuable player honors and Olympic gold in the same year. It’s been an outstanding year for a man who I believe is on pace to be the greatest ever to play the game of basketball. Although Lebron James & the Miami Heat are the heavy favorites to win another NBA championship next season, only time will tell as there is still plenty of work to do for the 27-year-old superstar but this “highlight documentary” follows the kid from Akron Ohio’s entire journey to his first ever NBA championship ring. I’m proud to say that I was there. Here’s to more championship rings for the King. Greatness!

When I heard this song circulating the internet from Pusha T my immediate reaction was it sounded pretty dope. No pun intended considering the V.A. native’s not so subtle contraband references. Apparently the song appears on the ‘Champions’ mixtape put together by the Cleveland based brotha Meel Tha DJ for LebronJames.com featuring all original music. The Fly Union produced song appears as the second track on the mixtape, but it is definitely a standout in my opinion. The artwork is pretty fly too. Lebron James & Kevin Durant Were ‘Striving For Greatness’ Together Before The NBA Finals (Video)

Now that the Miami Heat have won the Eastern Conference finals & are set to face off against the Western Conference Champion OKC Thunder, it seemed like it was destined to happen that two friends would face each other in an NBA Finals series at some point. It’s rather ironic that Lebron James & Kevin Durant were just working out with each other in Lebron’s hometown of Akron earlier this season. I predicted the 2012 NBA Finals would find Miami vs. OKC. I’m a big supporter both Lebron & Durant & wish them well, but let’s go Heat! Shout out to the homie Brando for the reminder on the clip above…

I had this post set up a pending draft but I almost didn’t post this Lebron James highlight from the Miami Heat’s win over the Atlanta Hawks the other night. I’m a Lebron James supporter but my biggest issue with this dunk was that I thought “King James” made this joint look too damn easy. For many players close to his caliber it simply isn’t by any means but I would have preferred if he made this jam a little more nastier & angrier. (Shrugs shoulders) It’s still all good with me though. Under the hood Lebron kinda hints that Peyton Manning may possibly become a Miami Dolphin…..
