KRS-ONE – “Late Night” (Unreleased) [1993]
Yoooo! It’s “The Return Of The Boom Bap” … so to speak. DJ [my brother’s name is] Kenny Parker uploaded a jewel from 1993 for all the Interwebs to enjoy. This unreleased “Late Night” is the Blast Master going on and on with all the buzz and crackle that’ll make everyone who tried to rap back then reminisce. A treasure from the Golden Era that did not make “The Return…” LP.
KRS-ONE – LATE NIGHT
Hip-Hop Has Been With Us Since Ancient Times. Ask KRS-ONE (Video)
Shhh… In about 4 seconds, a Teacha will begin to speak (sooner if you hit play sooner). Very few emcees put it down like KRS-ONE can. Knowledge Reigns Supreme. That and more… Let’s get some knowledge about Hip-Hop’s ancient history from the KRS himself.
Rah Digga – “Angela Davis” (Produced By J-Pilot)
“Angela Davis” is the newness from Rah Digga rawwww! Cosign snip at the end by The Teacha KRS-ONE.
Y’all worry ’bout your stylist. Worry ’bout your talents… when did lyricism escape us?
– Rah Digga
Message! They gone learn today! You can listen hard for shots fired if you want. But since Rah is pretty above board with her shots (ehem… duck Iggy, duck down!), spend the next spin (yeah, you gonna play this at least twice) listening hard for truth! Plenty in this joint.
KRS-ONE with A ‘Supreme’ Explanation of The Art Of Hip-Hop (Video)
The Kris. The Teacha. Sharing knowledge about what Hip-Hop is, and ought to be, to us in the Hip-Hop Nation. Foundational knowledge about the spirit of where it came from kicked. Sponsored by Supreme.
Apart of their new Fall/Winter 2014 Collection, skate brand Supreme called on hometown Hip-Hop legend KRS-ONE for a special t-shirt collection paying homage to the Bronx MC. The offering includes tees featuring dope images from the KRS’s career such as his iconic “By All Means Necessary” album cover.
KRS-ONE – Hip Hop Is One (Prod. By Domingo)
Unity! That’s what it’s all about.
– KRS-ONE
Domingo on the beat. The Kris spitting positivity on the track. Domingo has a compilation album with Channel Live (Hakim and Tuffy) and The Blast Master KRS-ONE on the way. Should be good; like this first leak “Hip Hop Is One.”

Boogie Down Productions – “Duck Down” (Alternative Version)
Not just a different beat, but the bonus verse makes the Alternative Version to KRS-ONE’s classic spit “Duck Down” for Boogie Down Productions all that and then some (90s slang for this Golden Era flip)! Got to give Unkut.com the credit for unearthing this gem…

KRS-ONE Gives His Views On 9-11, Hip-Hop’s Great Ones and More (Video)
Whether they agree with him or not, most would agree that the ‘Kris’ (KRS-ONE) articulates his positions on even the most controversial topics plainly…when given the chance. Surfing the ‘Tube (YouTube), I found this Vlad-TV clip (above) in which KRS-ONE clarifies comments he made soon after 9/11 to The New Yorker magazine that were were taken out of context. KRS-ONE also talks about today’s Hip-Hop, battles, and his respect for the rap greats.
KRS-ONE – “Disaster Kit” (Video)
While most rap artists in NY are still talking about “B*tches & Bottles” & flashing money in their music videos following the Superstorm Sandy disaster, KRS-ONE drops this very dope banger to remind people to always be prepared in the event of a major emergency. This new joint “Disaster Kit” is not on a dope song, but it’s a step by step audio preparedness record to pay attention to protect yourself & your family. When a major disaster hits money alone may not get you anywhere depending on the circumstances. The song will appear on KRS-ONE’s upcoming mixtape “Just Passing Through” due on Thanksgiving that will be an appetizer before he drops what will be his 20th album “JUST LIKE THAT” produced By MAD LION in early 2013.

KRS-ONE Says His Career Ended with Record Labels in ’92, But He Grew Through Independence (Video)
This is very informative interview with KRS-ONE recorded by the team over at DJPremierBlog. The Blastmaster KRS-ONE explains in detail about how he viewed his career was over in 1992 following his business separation with Jive records. KRS-ONE explained that through independence and gathering other like minded indy artists like the Fugees, Fat Joe, Mad Lion, Gangstarr, & others they were all able to eventually thrive. After completing a classic album featuring DJ Premier called “Return Of The Boom Bap” back in 1993, KRS-ONE is coming full circle with “Return Of The Boom Bip” with Primo that’s due to be released sometime this year…

KRS-ONE – “Just Like That” (Video)
I was just talking to a friend of mine the other day about how KRS-ONE had been missing on the ‘media radar’ for a little minute & “Just Like That” he turns up with a new video for what will be his 20th studio album entitled “Just Like That” due in 2012. The song & video was produced by Mad Lion who himself has been on the low as well these days & probably just ‘Takin It Easy’. Peace, Love, Unity, & Having fun….these are the lyrics of KRS-ONE!
KRS-ONE Reviews ‘Bad Teacher’ (Video)
How smart is it for the the director of this segment to get ‘The Teacha’, KRS-ONE, to review the new film Bad Teacher starring Cameron Diaz?! Genius for that alone. Check out the video to see what KRS-ONE had to say about the new comedy that’s in theaters this weekend.
