It doesn’t take a Cardo beat for King Mez to tell you what you oughta already know: Everything that thrives is either growing or dying. Guess what Mez is trying to do? Crazy that this joint will definitely touch every listener; but likely in different ways. The gotta-get-mine minded folks will be nodding halfway through. But folks who know someone who has “Changed” on them, maybe not.

The headline says it all; like its own byline. Did you see the Cyphers this year? Always the best part of the BET Hip-Hop Awards. We expect a ‘wow’ moment or two from the Awards’ broadcast; and a Cypher is a good bet for a source. Well, there was [at least] a BIG one in this year’s – Erick Sermon, Keith Murray and Redman spitting with DJ Scratch taking the Preemo spot (see what we did there?) for the set. Def Squad comes back to life for the night! Good to see.

Thee Tom Hardy is one of my favorite newcomers in hip hop & although he’s been rather quiet in releasing projects or singles over the past several months I’m not mad at him for it. Far too often some artists release too much material that you don’t look forward to see what they have new anymore. I’m not mad at Tom just taking his time to put out quality work only to return like a comet in the sky. Glad to see they decided to round up Thee Tom Hardy & Sean Boog for the video for of my favorite songs from the project…..If most of the music in the mainstream sounded this dope you’d never hear of fools in other regions dissing the south.
