Bishop Eddie Long Crowned ‘King’ at New Birth Baptist Church (Video)

I saw people talk about this left & right yesterday about how embattled Atlanta preacher Bishop Eddie Long was recently crowned ‘King’ at New Birth Baptist Church out here in Atlanta. Amidst everything that has been going on with this guy, now he’s crowned “King” by what appears to be a fake Rabbi of some sorts. The video gets really wild around the 7:00 minute mark.

Robert Glasper is set to release his “Black Radio” album that I’m very much looking forward to this February 28th. The album will be an infusion of Blues, Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, Rock, & a variety of other ingredients that should musically define what “Black Radio” should be. A few of the songs that leaked early featuring Erykah Badu, Musiq Soulchild, Chrisette Michele, & R&B trio King let’s me know that this is shaping up to be a very good project. King – ‘Story’ (Video)

Not everyday you hear music that gives you chills, but when I heard this I got instant goosebumps. Not much is know about the trio other than them having a 3 song EP entitled “Story”, that is catching on like wildfire.The group is comprised of twins Paris and Amber, with Anita as the 3rd vocalists. They all hail from LA but met in Boston while attending college. All arrangement and production is done by group members, which blows you away when you hear the complex melodies and harmonies that blend smoothly like cocoa butter on ashy skin. They have created something that musically reaches out the box, and spans beyond R&B music thats mostly superficial and materialistic. Hopefully we will get more from KING soon but until then, it always feels good to find quality music organically and being able spread the good word about it……SO ENJOY!! – IsReal

Swizz Beatz’s ex-wife & singer Mashonda graces the latest cover of KING Magazine due on newstands March 29th. Despite her R&B career not exactly taking off, Mashonda was always a very attractive woman. She had wifey type of look & a KING Magazine photoshoot & cover may have been long overdue. It could have been one of the reasons her R&B career didn’t take off like she may have wanted to because she was more in a motherly role & sort of unavailable to be that classy sex symbol male fans would lust over. Good for Swizzy, bad for thousands of brothas who may even thought there was a slim chance to try & holla. Now that she’s divorced she’s really steppin’ out with it. I’m sure alot of brothas don’t mind & if Swizz don’t want her……..
