Killer Mike – “Untitled” feat. Scar (Video)
Atlanta emcee Killer Mike gets an assist from Scar to deliver “Untitled” – another banger off the six-track EP “R.A.P. Music.” Here is the official music video for this joint, a dark piece directed by Benjamin Dickinson (dark enough that we thought it prudent to put a Not Safe For Work stamp on it, just in case). You can cop the “R.A.P. Music” EP via a link in an earlier post here.

Killer Mike – “Big Beast” feat. T.I., Bun B, & El-P (Short Film) [NSFW]
Killa Kill from Adamsville delivers a new music video for “Big Beast” which is the first official single from his collaborative album with EL-P on production called “R.A.P. Music”. Killer Mike’s new video plays out more like a short film centered around a 2012 “Zombie Apocalypse” that just doubles as a music video. This mini-movie may not be safe for work as it does contain some rather graphic images & content. In case you haven’t peeped Killer Mile’s new album entirely produced by El-P make sure you download it below from itunes.

Killer Mike – “Big Beast ” Produced by El-P
BANGER ALERT, BANGER ALERT!!! For a while it had been rumors of ATL mic wrecker Killer Mike and Philly producer of Def Jux/Company Flow fame El-P coming together and doing a project but it sounded like all hype. Well what would initially seems more like the Odd Couple than the perfect match, as the pair have completely different backgrounds musically, yet may turn out to be a possible contender for album of the year. More hip hop artists need to collaborate to keep pushing the boundaries musically, keeping the art fresh and innovative while at the same times cross mixing fan bases.
The first single from the all El-P produced album R.A.P Music ( Rebellious African People’s Music), “Big Beast” is a heater featuring an energized T.I, a always consistent Bun B, and newcomer Trouble taking turns with Killer Mike ripping this Public Enemy sampled track to shreds.Who would have ever imagined the trappers and backpackers on joints together?? Indeed 2012 is going to be crazy year. Bang this in your jeep until the speakers blow. CRUMS!!!!

Killer Mike Speaks at the Troy Davis Rally (Video)
Mike Bigga aka Killer Mike along with Big Boi were the only two prominent rap artists to make the trek to Jackson Georgia to rally for Troy Davis who was facing execution for a crime where there is a substantial lack of evidence that he had anything to do with. Here someone in the audience manages to captures Killer Mike’s words to the public in attendance. Personally I believe Killer Mike’s calling is not entirely in hip hop as an emcee, but he could very well be one of this generations great black leaders…IF he wanted to.
Killer Mike – ‘Burn’ (Video)
Perfect timing for Killa Kill from Adamsville to drop this video in the midst of Oscar Grant’s murderer being released earlier from prision….Killer Mike’s Pledge III is available now…
Killer Mike – ‘Bang 3X’ (EP)
Killer Mike dropped this 9 song EP/Mixtape BANG 3X as an appetizer before his third album in the I Pledge Allegiance To The Grind series drops on May 17th. My favorite track on this joint by far is the ‘Blind Justice’ joint produced by DJ Toomp. Personally I’m hoping Killer Mike diversified his sound a little more on the upcoming album because I’ve always felt time & time again that Killer Mike just needs the right beats. I think the joint ‘Ready, Set, Go,’ produced NO I.D. & this banging ‘Blind Justice’ joint produced by DJ Toomp is a start in the right direction. I personally feel if he can adequately round out his sound a little more he could win many more fans beyond the south. Unfortunately I believe the politics involving the hardcore fans that only want those 808s may have something to do with it.
Maurice Garland Chops It Up With Killer Mike & Big Boi (Video)
The homie Maurice Garland recently conducted an interview with Killer Mike & Big Boi in a recent video. If you aren’t familiar with Maurice Garland outside of his literary work, in person he would always be a quiet & reserved individual so seeing him in come alive hosting gigs & on camera for interviews may be shocking to some. Hahaa! Big up Maurice

Killer Mike, Chace Infinite, Krondon, Freddie Gibbs, & DJ Khalil Haven’t Forgotten Oscar Grant
Amongst all the club records, strip club records, & ‘this is for the radio’ type of records many artists seem to to be wrapped up in these days, its good so see some genuine artists talk about some real issues going on in our communities. If you’re not familiar with Oscar Grant’s murder by a transit police officer in San Francisco you need to wake up because chances are police brutality is occurring in your community as well. Killer Mike aka Mike Bigga, Strong Arm Steady, Chace Infinite & Freddie Gibbs have recorded songs to keep the focus on the young man who lost his life by a rogue police officer. Check out the video from Killer Mike below as he talks about his upcoming album PL3DGE album & being inspired about Oscar Grant’s unfortunate demise. Shouts to Maurice Garland on the visuals.
