ScHoolboy Q – “Dangerous” feat. Kid Cudi (Video)
Another off the “Crash Talk” project. Something about this feeling… “Dangerous” and nauseous. Crazy in these streets with Kid Cudi and ScHoolboy Q. You sure you wanna take this ride. It won’t take long. We can tell you that up front. For the rest, you are gonna have to hit play above.
Wow.

Kid Cudi Talks With Paul Reubens About Meeting Each Other, Movie-Making And More (Video)
No…way. Kid Cudi knows Paul ‘Pee-Wee Herman’ Reubens like that???
Hip-Hop star, actor and longtime “Pee-Wee Herman” fan Kid Cudi is in conversation with Pee-Wee himself, Paul Reubens. The topics they talk about include how they first met, Reubens’ journey to bring Pee-Wee Herman back to the big screen, Cudi’s strong dislike of skunks (and recent encounter with a mountain lion).
Kid Cudi – “All In” (Prod. By Mike Will Made It)
It’s like Cudi was just scatting to some miscellany in the studio – vibing – and a beat got built up around it. Natural organic feel to the “All In” beat by Mike Will Made It. Decent. Apparently there is more to come.
Just the beginning 😉
– Kid Cudi
Yup.
Kid Cudi – “Confused”
I hate the drugs, but I love the numb…
– Kid Cudi
Yep, that’s the vibe alright.
We’d call Cudi alternative Hip-Hop; but on this time he seems to lean a lot harder on the alternative side of the box. Rumor ’round the web is that an album is in the works. Check out this “Confused” in the embedded stream above right now though.
Kid Cudi – ‘love.’
I’m a fan of Kid Cudi’s music but I need him to deliver like he did on his first two ‘Man On The Moon’ albums. With this new single ‘love’ I believe the Cleveland Cudder is back on the right track of what I believe his fans truly expect from him. It’s that ‘Hip Hop Jimi Hendrix-type of feel’ & sound that only he do so well. Supposedly this new single will be featured on his upcoming album ‘Man On The Moon 3’.
“Something I made during the SF sessions. produced by me, keys by Dot. Sample is from one of my favorite Ratatat jams “Sunblocks”. And love to Evan and Mike for allowing me to release it.. For you. Hope it brings you some peace if you have a lonely heart out there. byeeeee 🙂 “– Kid Cudi
KiD CuDi – “Going To The Ceremony” (Prod. By WZRD)
“You don’t know where you’re going. You’re going. It’s all happening.” – KiD CuDi
A dark, spaced-out track laid by WZRD (production duo Dot Da Genius and CuDi) is the backdrop for KiD CuDi’s chants and lyrics on “Going To The Ceremony.”
Kid Cudi – “Teleport 2 Me” (Video)
This Kid Cudi music video for his single “Teleport 2 Me” was a hard find. The single is off his experimental alternative Hip-Hop album “WZRD” – a collaboration with Dot Da Genius. The song was out a good while ago, but the video only recently got put out. Then… it started disappearing from video and blog sites. Strange. Oh, well… The video, directed by Walter Robot, is a conceptually deep wailing tune about Cudi missing his mate; and that comes through in the scenes – Kid Cudi going on a trippy journey from his room, into the wilderness, into outer space (more like ‘other’ space) and back… It’s a surreal experience. Note: Cleveland’s own Cudi has an album entitled “Indicud” coming out soon (early 2013). So soon, that it may make this “Teleport” experience a distant memory. Get some of this now though, because it’s definitely dope!
Check out the “Behind the Scenes” video after the jump for insights on the video concept, too. They put in work. Nice.

Kid Cudi – “Just What You Made†feat. King Chip (Video)
When I posted this dope ass Kid Cudi song back in August I had it on repeat for several times throughout my day for weeks. Fast forward to this crucial election day in November & I’m excited to see the Cleveland kid released this visually interesting moving portrait featuring King Chip for his latest single “Just What You Made”. Just when I started to get this song out of my head, the new video puts it right back in there again. As a fan of Kid Cudi’s music I can’t wait for his next album ‘Indicud’ that’s on the way… ***Hits repeat on the video***

Hit-Boy – “Old School Caddy” feat. Kid Cudi (Video)
Producer/emcee Hit-Boy has a video for his hot tune “Old School Caddy” (featuring Kid Cudi) off his debut rap mixtape (“HITstory”) for y’all to check out. Nice. We featured Hit-Boy in an earlier post here, so you can click to re-familiarize yourself if you need to. We got you.

Kid Cudi – “Just What You Made” feat. King Chip
I pressed play on this joint from my laptop while sitting on the balcony of my friend’s high rise apartment peeping the Atlanta skyline. At that very moment & with the environment I was already in at the time this song was perfect. I had to replay it back several more times. Traditional Cudi fans shouldn’t be disappointed with this at all featuring the artist formerly known as Chip The Ripper aka King Chip. As a fan of Kid Cudi’s first two ‘Man On The Moon’ albums, my ears are ready for something new from the G.O.O.D. music artist. In a recent interview with Complex who debuted the track, Kid Cudi mentioned that he’s gonna try something a little different from his style on his next album entitled ‘Indicud’. I’m not mad at the old style as long as whatever he’s cooking up sounds good.
WISH and High Museum of Art Presents KAWS: “Down Time”
KAWS OPENING
KAWS SPEAKS
Long time no see. So I’ve come across something incredibly interesting that is planning to happen February 18th in the ATL. Artist Brian Donnelly, also known as KAWS, will be joining his “Companion” at the High Museum of Art here in Atlanta, GA. For those that are not hip to former New Jersey/ New York Graffiti writer KAWS, he is a prolific pop artist that has done work for Kid Cudi, Pharrell Williams, Bape, Hennesy, Dos Equis, and most notably Kanye West‘s fourth studio album “808 and Heartbreak”. Â Kaws who worked as a background designer for Disney often uses bottom half of Mickey Mouse for his “Orginal Fake” collectibles and of course the four finger gloves on most of his printed and painted work as well. There will be a “Culture Shock” social after the already SOLD OUT lecture The High Museum will be conducting February 16th 2012. You can purchase tickets online for the event HERE. Be sure to visit the exhibit but most importantly support your local artists!
Yours Truly,
FRANK YERBY
WZRD – “Brake”
All of Kid Cudi’s albums have had a not so subtle rock element to them so I’m not surprised when he announced months back that he was forming a band called “WZRD” (Wizard) with producer Dot Da Genius. I’m a fan of Kid Cudi’s music largely because I don’t listen to his music the same as if I’d listen to the average hip hop album. Different moods entirely. The upcoming WZRD album is a birth of sorts for Mr. Scott Mescudi’s focused direction on the rock side of the music so it’s fitting that the album will be released on his birthday January 30th. Great things happening for the ‘Kid’ especially with his acting career also taking off on the new HBO series “How To Make It In America”. Well here’s the first single from the WZRD project called “Brake”…
Kid Cudi – Maniac (Short Film)
Directed by Transformers star Shia Lebeouf, “Maniac” is a short film starring the actor Scott Mescudi of the HBO series “How To Make It In America.” Of course he’s better known to the world as the Kid Cudi the recording artist. The short film’s music is centered around the work of Kid Cudi & his producer Dot Da Genius. The movie is about a film crew that documents two serial killers as they go about their business. We warn you that this is not for people who have weak stomachs.
Kid Cudi on Conan O’Brien (Video)
….yo….Kid Cudi talks about an incident where one of his fans ( a dude) tried to kiss him…he said he was flattered……
Kid Cudi – Mr. Rager (Video)
Seems like a minute since Kid Cudi dropped a new video from his last album Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager. In this new video for “Mr. Rager”, Kid Cudi aka Scott Mescudi is fighting within himself in an eerie dreamlike sequence.
Consequence featuring Kid Cudi – ‘On My Own’
I’m really digging this joint right here….Despite his problems with his former peeps over there at G.O.O.D. Music, Consequence has been dropping some good material. It’s a shame they couldn’t work out all of their issues. At least its good to see Kid Cudi & Consequence patched up their previous differences. Consequence is set to drop more joints like this on his Movies On Demand 3 coming soon…. It’s The Cons Fool!
Kid Cudi – ‘Marijuana’ (Video)
Kid Cudi drops a new video from one of my favorite songs from his last album Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager. I don’t even smoke weed & I’d have this song on repeat. Directed, Shot, & Edited by that ‘Transformers’ actor Shia LeBeouf

Kid CuDi: The Journey Of Mr. Rager (Documentary)
I thoroughly enjoyed both of the albums the kid from Cleveland has dropped. Don’t know if I was dreaming or smoking the greeny green like Kid CuDi is notorious for but I’m positive I’ve seen this documentary on the web a while ago. Maybe it was removed for some reason & brought back. Who knows? Doesn’t matter…..just watch & enjoy it if you haven’t peeped it already. Part two under the hood……

Kanye West – ‘All Of The Lights’ feat. Rihanna & Kid Cudi (Video)
Here’s the official video for Kanye West’s ‘All Of The Lights’. Several of the stars that appeared on the album version are missing in the video so he should have renamed the video ‘Some Of The Lights’. haha
