Kendrick Lamar x J. Cole Perform Together In North Carolina (Video)
Daaayyyummm! You can feel the energy in the first minute of this video! The TDE x BET Music Matters Tour stops in Charlotte, North Carolina… and Dwayne LaFleur was there to shoot (and edit) video. Good for us! In the video, Kendrick Lamar brought out J. Cole to perform a few cuts for the fans in the home state. J. Cole also freestyled for the fans. Great stuff!

Kendrick Lamar: PitchFork Music Festival (Video)
Kendrick Lamar performs at the Pitchfork Music Festival and does his publicity runs. Shows… then reporters… then radio… It’s not easy, but Kendrick declares he would rather do all that (as part of the life he loves) than sit at home or do anything else. Great attitude. Glad producer/director Eavvon O’Neal (and others) put this together to show that, and Kendrick’s desire to take the feel he had on the underground circuit to the mainstream (e.g. not ‘selling out’ despite what some may think). Side note: Watching this video, I see that “Swimming Pools” was made for the festival stage! Enjoy.

Dr. Dre’s newest protégé, Kendrick Lamar, sits down for an interview with Montreality during a stop on the Under The Influence tour. This video clip from the sit down runs through a LOT of topics, with Kendrick commenting on everything from how he did in school, to how he did when the money started “rolling in,” to who he would like to work with in the future… to his favorite superhero??? Kendrick Lamar x Dr. Dre Cover 15th Anniversary Issue Of XXL Mag
Great to see an artist like Kendrick Lamar get the cover of XXL Magazine even if he has to share it with the legendary Dr. Dre. Talib Kweli – “Push Thru” feat. Kendrick Lamar x Curren$y
“The ONLY true version of Push Thru ft Curren$y and Kendrick Lamar, produced by Symbolic One, with Kendrick’s correct verse. New, from my album Prisoner of Conscious, out October on Blacksmith/EMI. Follow my lead. Be on the look out for my mixtape with Z-Trip, Attack The Block! Soon come. Cheers!” – Talib Kweli
Kendrick Lamar – Swimming Pools (Drank)
Kendrick Lamar goes IN on “Swimming Pools” (Drank) with his signature life-of-dark-excess (e.g sex, alcohol, drugs, depression… a lot of all that) style. He (with his “conscience”) delivers the chants and lyrics as though he was another instrument accompanying the haunting T-Minus track. That’s good production; and a good mix down (MixedByAli). This cut is a leak from the forthcoming release “Good Kid m.A.A.d City” (due out October 2, 2012). Take a toke of the smoke. Go ahead. You can inhale. We won’t tell.

Nardwuar x Kendrick Lamar (Video)
I really enjoy Canada native Nardwuar’s interviews with artists not only because they are quirky & funny, but you can tell that he also does his research with the artists & the music. I wonder if this dude stays in character long after the interviews are completely done or if this is his real personality. Check out this interview with Kendrick Lamar down at SXSW & a few other interviews under the hood from when Nardwuar caught up with Action Bronson, A$AP Rocky, & a few others…..

SXSW: Kendrick Lamar – “Hol’ Up” (Video)
