French Presidential Candidate Uses ‘N*ggaz In Paris’ As Campaign Song (Video)

I’m still shaking my head that Kanye & Jay Z’s “N*ggaz In Paris” song title couldn’t have been more creative with the ‘Paris’ theme. Now a French presidential candidate is using it in his campaign. The explicit version at that. Now you have to pause to wonder are they celebrating/laughing with us or at us….

Kanye West recently changed the name to the Hit-Boy produced song formerly known as “Theraflu” that the internet was buzzing over to “Way Too Cold”. The song was dope enough for fans of the record to drop videos for it. Without question this new one right here has been garnering the most attention amongst “fan made” videos as of late.

MTV Names Their Hottest Rappers In The Game For 2012 (Video)

I labeled this as “MTV’s Hottest Emcees Rappers In The Game” because not everyone on this list is an “emcee”….some are just rappers or singers. Either way it is what it is…Rap lists these days don’t hold much weight, but if you’re a real hip hop head like myself then you’ll chuckle out loud at some of things said by people on this panel. Ah well…What’d you expect from MTV & the current state of radio & rap music these days…Overall it’s just a reflection of how bad “mainstream” rap music is. There’s plenty of great music out there, but most of it ISN’T on the radio unfortunately. One thing I was surprised about was seeing the homie @BosNaud was on this panel. I haven’t looked at all the vids as of yet so I hope he represented well. Long time no see. So I’ve come across something incredibly interesting that is planning to happen February 18th in the ATL. Artist Brian Donnelly, also known as KAWS, will be joining his “Companion” at the High Museum of Art here in Atlanta, GA. For those that are not hip to former New Jersey/ New York Graffiti writer KAWS, he is a prolific pop artist that has done work for Kid Cudi, Pharrell Williams, Bape, Hennesy, Dos Equis, and most notably Kanye West‘s fourth studio album “808 and Heartbreak”. Â Kaws who worked as a background designer for Disney often uses bottom half of Mickey Mouse for his “Orginal Fake” collectibles and of course the four finger gloves on most of his printed and painted work as well. There will be a “Culture Shock” social after the already SOLD OUT lecture The High Museum will be conducting February 16th 2012. You can purchase tickets online for the event HERE. DJ Whoo Kid speaks with ThisIs50’s Jack Thriller about the day that Kanye West got into his near fatal car accident in L.A. back in 2002 that inspired Yeezy’s hit song “Through The Wire.” Regrettably or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, DJ Whoo Kid says his actions towards Kanye may have caused the incident that set off a chain of events that marked the beginning of the rise of Kanye’s career.

Kanye West & Lil Wayne Mark Their Debut as DJs on NYE 2012 (Video)

Kanye West was the featured DJ at a party in Las Vegas for New Years Eve 2012. Many of the reviews from people we’ve peeped on twitter have been mixed for the new DJ now known as “Yeezy World Peace.” Meanwhile in Miami, Lil Wayne kicked off his part-time career as a DJ on New Years Eve as well. I know plenty of professional DJs out there are pissed that more & more celebrities are stepping into their lane, but I feel like more DJs should just market & promote themselves more. Technology changes the whole DJ game but marketing & promoting yourself never will. Check out more video below…
