Recorded in Adrian Younge’s studio, Los Angeles (California, USA) bassist/songwriter/vocalist Stephen Bruner aka Thundercat takes us plenty of places on this track “Lotus & The Jondy.” There is structure to this single – in that it has a beginning and end, instrumentation and vocals… But the flow is very fluid. Organic to say the least… with Thundercat’s chanting lyrically throughout and drummer Thomas Pridgen going off in the latter half. Check out this auditory experiment from the album “Apocalypse” (due out On July 9, 2013).
