Will Ferrell vs. Chad Smith: The Drum-Off (Video)
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon hosts this ‘ultimate drum-off.’ Whoever whacks and smacks the drums best wins. But you know… actually, we all win with this clip! Mano y mano. Stick to stick. You pick: Who’s the best drummer?
Jimmy officiates Will and Chad’s battle for the title of greatest drummer on The Tonight Show that ends in a surprise performance of “Don’t Fear the Reaper” from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
More after the jump.
Comedy: Terry Crews And Jimmy Fallon ‘Nip Sync’ A Classic (Video)
Bring Terry Crews into pretty much any situation and turn him loose, and hilarity will ensue. But pair him up with the clown prince of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon, and you have a unique brand of silliness on tap. No tap, but check out the duo ‘performing’ Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney’s tender soul classic “Ebony and Ivory” in a … “manly” way. Crazy. Crazy!
CORRECTION: This is a ‘nip sync’ duet (perhaps the first ever)!
Nas x Q-Tip Rock with The Roots on ‘The Tonight Show’ (Video)
If you were to imagine a perfect “Illmatic” 20th anniversary celebratory event, part of it would have to go like this… Nas shows up on The Tonight Show (’cause you know Fallon respects real Hip-Hop)… Oh, Q-Tip is there, too? Cool, cool… Wanna do a set with The World’s Greatest Late Night Band (aka The Roots)… Ummm… Hell yeah, hell yeah. Okay, now imagine that happening. Because it did. Missed it? No, you didn’t. Press play for “One Love” above and enjoy thoroughly! More Nas and Q-Tip after the jump. Yeah, “The World Is Yours.”

Jimmy Fallon x Lebron James – “Wastepaper Basketball” (Video)
A couple of things are clear by now. Jimmy Fallon (1) loves Hip-Hop (especially from the 1980s) AND (2) loves putting together surprise duet sketches that make jaws drop in the happiest reminiscing ways. This one above. A remake of “Basketball” by Mr. Kurtis Blow (uh-huh-huh-huh-huh)… that he calls “Wastepaper Basketball”… featuring NBA Champion Heat flown in from Miami… Lebron James! And yeah, they both flow on this. Click play and watch ’em play; and just try not to smile. Salute to The Tonight Show.
And The Band Played On? Well, If Bill Cosby’s Funeral Goes As Planned… (Video)
Always interesting realization: The greatest comedians make us laugh at that we’d normally cry about. Today’s exhibit… comedic legend Bill Cosby back at it with the Philly cats on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. The last Cosby appearance on the show was incredible (and incredibly HILARIOUS)! This one… just watch! And WHY will you find yourself laughing and clapping about the Cos’ funeral preparations??? Enjoy this Roots-Cos “collabo” clip!
The Muppets – “Sesame Street” (Jimmy Fallon x The Roots Remix) [Video]
MSN hit the nail on the head: ‘Jimmy Fallon + The Roots + ‘Sesame Street’ cast = pure awesome!’ Check out this version of the “Sesame Street” theme featuring Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, and a host of Muppets from the PBS Television series. With The Count counting it down at the start and a verse from Black Thought…nice!

Comedy: Justin Timberlake And Jimmy Fallon Run All The Touchdown Dance Moves (Video)
Can’t celebrate like this on the field nowadays, but there will be no flags thrown as Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon (they’re always clowning) get it in doing a medley of touchdown dances (with their own twist) in this ‘Late Night’ skit. Complete with The Roots on backup.
R&B Legend Ron Isley Performs “It’s Your Thing†With ‘The Roots’ On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ (Video)
The Roots (aka The World’s Greatest Band) backs one of R&B’s greatest performers (Ron Isley) for “It’s Your Thing.” The Late Night With Jimmy Fallon crowd gets rocked with a live rendition of an Isley Brothers classic!
Comedy: NBC News’ Brian Williams ‘Raps’ a Snoop Dogg Verse On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ (Video)
‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon‘ keeps coming up with visual nuggets of joy for us. In this short, Fallon plays a mashup of NBC News anchor Brian Williams’ clips – edited to string together audio that ‘raps’ a portion of Snoop Dogg’s verse from Dr. Dre’s “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang” from back in the day.
De La Soul Rocks With ‘The Roots’ On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ (Video)
De La Soul with The Roots backing. Think this performance on ‘Late Night’ with Jimmy Fallon was major? Think… $#%! you KNOW it was dope! Watch and pat yourself on the back for being right. Video of De La doing “Jenifa Taught Me” above, then “A Roller Skating Jam Named Saturdays” after the jump.
Floyd Mayweather On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ (Video)
Pound-for-pound boxing great Floyd Mayweather, Jr., tweeted ‘I had a great time with @jimmyfallon last night.’ The prince of new school late night having the talk-trash-and-back-it-up king make for great TV. Watch the ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon‘ clip for yourself.
Bill Cosby Being ‘Himself’ With Jimmy Fallon and The Roots (Video)
You know, I’ve seen so much video of Bill Cosby in serious activist mode… I almost forgot how funny he could be. By the way, ‘Bill Cosby Himself‘ is one of the three funniest stand-up comedy specials of all time. Just saying. The ‘Dad is Great…’ bit The Roots does here comes straight from that Cosby stand-up back in the day.
Above is part 1 of the first King of Must-See TV on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon… clowning with the host and Late Night’s Greatest Band, The Roots. Hahahaaaa! Check out part 2 after the jump (where the antics continue). So… is it like that in Philly for real JayForce?
(BONUS: I embedded a YouTube of ‘Bill Cosby Himself’ after the jump. Check it out. And you’re welcome!)

Big Boi x Little Dragon Perform ‘Mama Told Me’ On Jimmy Fallon (Video)
I remember a while back Big Boi tweeted that he was working with Little Dragon for a song on his new album ‘Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors’ that drops this Tuesday December 11th. Upon glancing over the tracklisting I’m surprised to see a few songs featuring Little Dragon will make the album. One of my favorites singles from the album “Mama Told Me” featuring Kelly Rowland was originally done with the Swedish band as well. Check out the video of Big Boi & Little Dragon performing “Mama Told Me” on Jimmy Fallon last night above then download the original version of the song below.
Alicia Keys Loves Her Some ‘Gummi Bears’ (Video)
Who doesn’t love Alicia Keys? As she performs her soulful rendition of the theme to the 1990s cartoon ‘Adventures of the Gummi Bears’ on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, you kind of want to laugh… but you’re kind of saying to yourself… ‘Alicia knows she can sing anything!’
On top of that, she is just that damn fine. You can laugh though. Alicia won’t be offended… mainly because she won’t find out that you did. At least, not from us. Hahaaaaa.

Mike Tyson was a guest on the Jimmy Fallon show last week to promote his new Broadway show “Undisputed Truth” produced by Spike Lee. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ (Video)
WWE wrestler & movie star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to speak on his family’s history in wrestling, upcoming projects & more. I chuckled out loud at The Roots choice of theme music for the ‘The Rock’ to walk out to in their use of The Whispers classic 80s R&B record “Rock Steady”…
Snoop Dogg on ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ (Video)
The Roots & Jimmy Fallon continue to broadcast from Indianapolis during the Super Bowl XLVI festivities & many stellar guests have been stopping by. The ‘Doggfather’, Snoop D.O. Double G, stopped by to chop it up last night. Good choice of walk out music from Questlove & the Roots for when Snoop came out onstage. Always props always to Yardie for the videos…
