But er… we might stick around and watch again… just to confirm that that was indeed the sultry Ms. Dawson. Her presence and essence goes with the vibe of the music. Soulful. “Love Apparatus” is out now. This single off it, “Wonder Years,” wouldn’t need anything to really put it over as solid R&B. However, this video concept… a wonderful touch. “Wonder Years” – already makes you think about the TV show and gets you thinking about bank-in-the-day; perhaps about what was and could’ve been, right? Jesse Ware x Jesse Boykins III “Tiny Desk Concert Performance” (Video)

Soulful English singer Jesse Ware recently stopped by NPR offices and performed for the Tiny Desk Concert series. Â She was accompanied by Jesse Boykins III who is on tour with her during the North American leg of her tour. Â If you are not familiar with Jesse Ware you are in for a treat and we have posted work from Jesse Boykins on the site most recently his latest video “Our Tonight is Mine” . Â So enjoy watching some singers perform without auto tune, flashing screens and fireworks. Â Simply a mic stand someone playing guitar and two people using their voices what a novel idea!

A lot of R&B these days is non quality. Â I like my R&B singers to not sound like rappers and Jesse Boykins III is still making good R&B. Â The thing is you can have sensual lyrics without telling a lady “Pull your panties to the side & Drop it to the floor” , what you mostly hear on the radio these days. Well the track “Our Tonight is Mine” off Jesse’s Love Apparatus album talks to the ladies in a subtle but sexy way. Â The video features Jesse Boykins and Swedish model Amanda Looma while all of this takes place in the car in a parking garage. Â I know Jesse is happy with the director because he gets to kiss and feel on a hot swedish model while singing to her.
