In this recent interview with MTV, Prodigy & Havoc speak on their very public feud & beef which eventually led to the rumored breakup of Mobb Deep. We all know things appear to have been patched up since then, but this is most likely the first time these two have sat down on camera to discuss what happened from the beef to reuniting again as they prepare for their 20th anniversary tour that’s on the horizon.

Havoc – “Separated” (Real From The Fake) [Video)
Havoc releases the official video to one of the most controversial songs a number of Mobb Deep fans have been speaking on throughout the hip hop community called “Separated (Real From The Fake)” which is a not so subtle diss to his former partner in rhyme Prodigy. I’m sure Havoc has more to say regarding their beef when his upcoming EP entitled “13” is released in the near future.

Havoc – “Separated” (Real From The Fake)”
“Separated (Real From The Fake)” is the latest joint from Havoc off “13.” If you have followed the posts here regarding Havoc’s singles off his EP “13,” the semi-veiled references to the “fake one” in this cut will not shock you. Also, if you have been following (or are just now catching up), you know we are not fueling any fire about a Mobb Deep beef. Listen and draw your own conclusions. Whatever it is, beef between family should be cooked by them. We just nod to the good music. That said. Get stuck on the realness. Click, play, and start your Monday.

Havoc (of Mobb Deep) – “Same Sh*t Different Day” (Video)
I keep putting Havoc… of Mobb Deep…for posts. Maybe that is just wishful thinking at this point. No need to rehash what’s beef or not. Did that already (peep the write-up on the “Same Sh*t Different Day” leak) in an earlier post here. But you must ask yourself: Who is the “victim” in this video supposed to be? Regardless, check out the video starring Havoc (of Mobb Deep) for the single “Same Shit Different Day.”
Havoc (of Mobb Deep) – “Same Sh*t Different Day”
Legendary producer Havoc (of Mobb Deep) drops the first leak from his forthcoming EP entitled “13.” This joint, “Same Shit Different Day,†features lyrics spit with a “hollow” effect applied (reminds me of that megaphone rap old school emcees like Paris used to use on tracks back in the day) over Havoc’s signature grimy production. Somebody spill the beans though: Did Havoc take a shot at Prodigy (his partner in Mobb Deep) on this track? Listen when Havoc spits, “N*ggas out here dry snitchin’ writin’ books / lyin’ out they ass just to sell a book.†That could be taken as a reference to Prodigy’s autobiography, “My Infamous Life,” (which caused quite a stir when it dropped last year). Well, we have a video post on here that has Prodigy squashing rumors of beef between the Mobb members; but that was then. What’s up now? Who cares. Just enjoy the H-A-V-O-C on the M-I-C doing it gritty; and let the rest rest.
