There was a lot of back-and-forth, is he or isn’t he? But later on into Sunday we got news we were not ready to hear…
Sad to report it when we got final confirmation, but relieved that the brother’s suffering has ended. Our deepest condolences to his family and our thanks, as part of a Hip-Hop Nation that was blessed by his light. Check out the video montage showing some of Bill’s brilliance above. He will be missed.

Lean in for this one: Mr. Scarface stops by Power 105 for a Breakfast Club interview. FaceMob talks about the moves he had to make to continue to live – losing weight, exercising and letting go of the drugs. He talked about his book – which in part expresses dark suicidal thoughts and insights on what he would say to someone else trying to make it through what he did.
And of course, he went deep on the Geto Boys. Great watch!

I follow writer Byron Crawford on twitter & when I saw him post this video up on the web of a dog rocking to the Geto Boys 1992 hip hop classic ‘Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta’ not only did I laugh at this joint but I replayed it several times over. Maybe this dog was a hip hop head in the 90s in his former life who just so happened to come back as a dog.

Scarface Still In Jail, Owes Owes Over $123,000 In Child Support

Scarface has been incarcerated since October 2010 for failure to pay child support & reportedly owes over $123,000. According to XXL magazine, the hip hop legend has spent his Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, & will now spend his July 4th weekend in the Harris County Jail in Texas for four separate child support cases.
According to police documents obtained by XXLmag.com, bonds have been set on all four cases—one for $93,376, a second one for $50,000, another for $30,000 and the last one was set at $500.
As of this time it is unclear how much longer the former Geto Boys frontman is expected to spend behind bars, but a media relations rep for Harris County’s 7th precinct states that ‘Face will be held until these women accusing him of not paying child support are compensated to some capacity.
