As he prepares to release his next project Jesus Piece, Compton emcee Game took some time out while in New York City during the Superstorm Sandy weather plaguing the area to drop this “Cough Up A Lung” acapella freestyle. There are notable shots directed towards Shyne for dissing fellow West Coast emcee Kendrick Lamar & shots at rapper 40 Glocc who threatened to sue Game for this videotaped beat down. Hurricane Game’s next project Jesus Piece drops December 11th.

I thought this new David Banner joint called “Californication” was a definite banger when it leaked on the web a few weeks ago. The song is straight heat but I didn’t expect a video to drop for this at all. I’m not mad that the Mississippi native decide to put some “allstar visuals” to this joint featuring Snoop Dogg, Game, Nipsey Hussle, & Ras Kass. It’s even more interesting to see David Banner, who reps the south so heavy, do a song for all my Cali people. I wonder if David Banner will do a song for the “East Coast brothas”……probably not. That says alot without saying anything at all. It is what it is. Hahaaa!

The new project hosted by DJ Skee just dropped & I understand how the music game works with the DJ versions of artist mixtapes from a promotional & business perspective & DJ Skee is good at what he does, but personally I can’t wait for the “No DJ” version. I found the preview VH1 released on their Behind The Music segment with Game to be very interesting as they covered him growing up in a dysfunctional family, trying to be a good husband to his wife, a good father to his kids that he never had & more but the VH1 producers were smart in not giving fans too much too soon. Now you can watch the full VH1 Behind The Music segment on Game right here. I found it to be a very interesting story from his life, being influenced by Ice Cube & Nas, his beef with 50 Cent, having fatal thoughts of suicide & a whole lot more….
