Sports: NBA To Crack Down On Verbally Abusive Fans (Video)

Okay. I’m for this. I mean, I would hear the old argument, “That’s what they get paid millions for… to put up with fans’ outbursts.” But I was ALSO a proponent of once your mouth ‘writes that check’ that 6’7″ brother you slurred should get to ‘cash you out court side’ (fines issued on a case-by-case basis, of course). I mean, hey, ALL speech is free… but no one is free from the consequences (just saying).
Nowadays, though, why don’t we just mandate some decorum on both sides. If you don’t think your seat was worth what you paid for it, don’t feel like you can “get your money’s worth” with hateful heckling. Nah, son. That day is done.
I especially like that even a ‘borrowed’ season ticket seat can be lost if the borrower acts out of pocket.
Only potentials issue I see: No ‘instant replay’ in the stands. A lifelong fan losing that season ticket seat for a ‘misheard statement’… well, taking that L would hurt a fan working for $50K a year way more than that athlete who earned $5MIL last year.
Let’s see how this plays out. Let those players play in [relative] peace from now on.

DL Hughley on Kevin Hart Quitting The Oscars: F**k ‘Em If They Can’t Take A Joke (Video)

Interesting angle, or at least an interesting way to say it… D.L. defends the right to say something dumb… especially when it is ‘part of the business’ (saying he would never apologize for ‘telling a joke’).
In this clip, D.L. Hughley gave his take on the Kevin Hart x Oscars situation. Hughley said he would’ve never apologized like Hart eventually did. D.L. also gave his take on the LGBTQ community stating that they are becoming bullies. He said that no one should be immune to jokes being made about them. Hughley went on to break down how humor is central to humanity.

Now, D.L. and Vlad do agree with what I always say. You are free to say WHATEVER you want, but you do have to face the repercussions that come of it.

So the cops can harass you for NOT bothering anyone, just because you (NOT speaking to them) are conversing in a language they do not understand? I’m asking… And above, someone answers.
Agree or agree to disagree, no motherf**king body can motherf**king tell you what language you must use to speak to each other; or use speaking an ‘unacceptable’ language to profile you. Plus, English does not have a strong an argument for being the ‘rightful’ language of ‘real’ Americans. Watch.
I gotta admit: I am down with ‘The Breakdown’ that Francis Maxwell delivers above and how he delivered that sh!t. Straight RAW! And I think I heard some ‘French’ in his rant, too (hahaa).

… regardless, let’s just cut through the sh!te, shall we?
We got a whiff and posted on the NFL’s kneel ban days ago. Now NFL Commish Roger Goodell puts it all the way out there… No longer speculation, the ban is out there. Watch TYT’s Francis Maxwell speak on it, and make a helluva good point: The League is FULL of Black players whose interests are repped by this LAWFUL, PEACEFUL protest. Goodell and the NFL owner cadre are essentially telling them to bow down, by insisting that they either stand for the anthem or stay off the playing field until they learn to ‘act right’… or get hit in the pockets.
NFL Bans Kneeling. So Much For Free Speech, Right?
