Planet Asia has recorded a number of albums with single producers (or production teams) throughout his prolific career. It’s easy for me to understand what the staff at XXL magazine have been doing recently with their freshman covers as of late. I said this a while ago on my twitter page that in making their choices for their annual freshmen cover they are choosing newcomers in the game with their own particular fanbase. I equally applaud XXL magazine for fully taking advantage with these video freestyles & new roundtable discussions. Many of these young guys make some great points about what they need to do from here on out & also rehash a few funny stories.

I hear Fred The Godson is fairly popular up in NYC but I may need to hear more material from him to make a adequate assessment of his work. Someone may need to put together a compilation or something of his best work for me to check out eventually. In any case I know that Cookin’ Soul’s production team always does a great job on remixes & original material so when I saw this video with “Cookin Soul Remix” I knew I had to check it out & it didn’t disappoint. The kid Vado rocks pretty well over this Cookin’ Soul beat too. His presence made the song seem like a ‘Vado featuring Fred The Godson’ record. Vado may want to employ Cookin Soul’s production services for a few bangerz.
