Straight Outta Compton (Trailer)
I can’t wait until this movie drops on August 14th… Buckle Up!
“In the mid-1980s, the streets of Compton, California, were some of the most dangerous in the country. When five young men translated their experiences growing up into brutally honest music that rebelled against abusive authority, they gave an explosive voice to a silenced generation. Following the meteoric rise and fall of N.W.A., Straight Outta Compton tells the astonishing story of how these youngsters revolutionized music and pop culture forever the moment they told the world the truth about life in the hood and ignited a cultural war.
Starring O’Shea Jackson Jr., Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell as Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, Straight Outta Compton is directed by F. Gary Gray (Friday, Set It Off, The Italian Job). The drama is produced by original N.W.A. members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, who are joined by fellow producers Matt Alvarez and Tomica Woods-Wright. Will Packer serves as executive producer of the film alongside Gray.” – StraightOuttaCompton
Godzilla (International Film Trailer)
It’s big & it’s coming to SMASH into theaters May 16th. It’s the return of what is arguably the most iconic monster in the history of film. The return of Godzilla. There’s not much more that’s revealed involving the plot & storyline to this movie reboot other than it’s implied that Godzilla could quite possibly be tangling against a number of other monsters that may have been created due to man’s arrogance & scientific ignorance.
“An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.” – Legendary Pictures (Godzilla 2014)
Dawn of The Planet of The Apes (Trailer)
Ceasar is back this Summer 2014 with ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’ which is the sequel to the modern day remake classic ‘Rise of Planet of The Apes’ in 2011. Look for ‘Dawn of The Planet of The Apes’ July 11, 2014….
“A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.” – Dawn Of Apes
Tom Cruise Stars in Summer 2014 Sci-Fi Film ‘Edge Of Tomorrow’ (Movie Trailer)
“The epic action of ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world. Major William Cage (Tom Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.” – Edge Of Tomorrow (In Theaters June 6th, 2014)
X-Men: Days Of Future Past (Trailer)
I’m looking forward to May 23, 2014 when Marvel’s upcoming “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” will hit theaters.
“The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future.” – Marvel
‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ Starring Idris Elba (Long Trailer)
We posted the UK trailer for the coming ‘Mandela’ movie earlier on here. Needless to say it was an incredibly short teaser of what’s to come. The film currently slated to be released November 29th seeks to chronicle Mandela’s life from his childhood in a rural village to his eventually ascent as the first democratically elected President of South Africa. Early rumors about the screenplay have the focus of the film to be on on Mandela’s younger days in South Africa. Nelson Mandela recently turned 95 after suffering a few life threatening health related issues so hopefully he will be with us when the world celebrates as the film hits theaters. Of course we posted the short version earlier, but now take a peek at the official ‘Long Version’ of the movie trailer.
Man Of Steel (Trailer 3)
Check out the third trailer to the upcoming ‘Man Of Steel’ film due to hit theaters June 14th….Some great actors involved with this project. Without teasing too much as to what’s coming in the film, at least in this trailer we find out what the “S” on his chest stands for. Looking forward to see what else the filmmakers have put together when the film hits theaters this summer.
The Wolverine (Trailer)
The Wolverine has always been one of my favorite Marvel characters & I’m glad they are keeping the film franchise going with Hugh Jackman playing the lead. I’m definitely looking forward to July 26th as Marvel films delve more & more into the story of one of their most popular characters……
Iron Man 3 (Movie Trailer)
Marvel’s upcoming ‘Iron Man 3’ film starring Robert Downey Jr returning in the lead role as Tony Starks is slated to hit the theaters & here comes another interesting trailer to get us ready for the film. It’s expected that Don Cheadle is returning as Tony’s friend Jim Rhodes who wrecks havoc as the Iron Patriot suit but is that enough for Iron Man to defeat his latest foe? In this particular trailer I’m wondering if director Shane Black may have revealed too much in this new trailer as to HOW Tony Stark plans to defeat his nemesis the ‘Mandarin’. We’ll see when the film hits theaters May 3rd. Can’t wait!

The Gangster Squad (Movie Trailer)
“Los Angeles, 1949. Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and–if he has his way–every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It’s enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop…except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O’Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen’s world apart. “Gangster Squad” is a colorful retelling of events surrounding the LAPD’s efforts to take back their nascent city from one of the most dangerous mafia bosses of all time.” – GangsterSquadMovie.com
Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap (Film Trailer)
Ice-T’s upcoming documentary looks very promising from the visuals & flow of this trailer. The documentary is set to drop in June of this year featuring KRS-ONE, Nas, Eminem, Chuck D of Public Enemy, Kanye West, Grandmaster Caz, Big Daddy Kane, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Common, & just so many other reputable emcees I’d be here all day just listing them all. Ice-T serves at the director of the film & the most impressive thing I’ve learned so far about process is that unlike many other possibly similar documentaries on hip hop or the ‘Art Of Rap’, ICE-T doesn’t utilize any archival footage so it’s evident no easy route was taken in producing this project. Looking forward to seeing this film…

Total Recall (Movie Trailer)
Here comes the remake to the popular 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger film “Total Recall” but for the 2012 reboot its starring Colin Farrell & may have a few plot changes…….
Marley (Film Trailer)
Directed by Kevin MacDonald (The Last King of Scotland, State of Play), it is a documentary on the life, music, and legacy of legendary Jamaican singer-songwriter and musician, Bob Marley. The film was premiered at the 2012 Berlin Film Festival and set to hit SXSW Festival next month March 8th – 13th 2012 in Austin, Texas.
It is the first feature backed by the Marley family as well as the legend’s longtime music label head Chris Blackwell which should make for the most insightful look at his life yet as it follows “the musician, revolutionary and legend from his earliest days to his rise to international superstardom” using rare footage, archival photos and incredible performances and interviews with his family, friends and bandmates. Blackwell executive produces alongside Marley’s son, Ziggy.” – BOBMARLEYARCHIVE
Marvel’s “The Avengers” (Trailer)
After watching this official trailer during Super Bowl XLVI, I’m even more hyped to see this film when it hits theaters this Summer….Can’t wait
Battleship (Super Bowl Trailer)
Although it looks rather similar to Transformers, who in fact are the same guys behind this film based on the Hasbro board game, Battleship could be another summer blockbuster for 2012….
