Eric Roberson – “Leave It In” (Video)
I’ve known many stallions. But baby, you’re a unicorn!
Hold up! Is that Jill Scott? Nope, but the vivacious Laurin Talese is nowhere near a disappointment! Ham mercy (hams & yams!!).
You better talk that psychadellic slick talk to her then, Erro! Matter of fact… sing that! That way, she can’t resist. Chances are she’ll let you “Leave It In” (yeeeaaaah, freaky-freaky-now, like THAT)!
“Leave It In” off of the “LNS” album. Available exclusively in “The Process” at www.EricRobersonMusic.com
Oh, Eric means he is leaving his heart in (wink). Got it… And, for the love of love, somebody give that man some ‘more cowbell’ (dope)!

Jeff N Fess – “Mr. Officer” feat. Eric Roberson (Prod. By The Playlist A-Team)
Serious music making happened at Jazzy Jeff’s Playlist Retreat 2016. Here’s one of the dopest outcomes of the gathering, Jeff N Fess (DJ Jazzy Jeff & Rhymefest) lacing a beat produced at the event – “Mr. Officer” (featuring crooner Eric Roberson).
After hearing a few bars of a particular arrangement, Eric Roberson was inspired to write. The first words uttered: Mr. Officer, can you spare some change? If they say art imitates life. Then Mr. Officer, by Jeff N Fess, feat. Eric Roberson, is art’s response to life. “Some people march, some people protest; we make music,” says DJ Jazzy Jeff of the motivation behind releasing Mr. Officer. Increasing reports of police brutality and deaths of unarmed Black men at the hands of law enforcement led to this musical expression of hurt, anger and frustration. Mr. Officer is produced by The Playlist A-Team, comprised of DJ Jazzy Jeff, Stro Elliot, Daniel Crawford, Steve McKie, Kaidi Tatham and Eric Lau. This ensemble of gifted musicians worked together to create a sound that uncomplicated, yet moving. Lyricists Eric Roberson and Rhymefest shine light this complex and emotional issue with heartfelt simplicity.

You will cry hot tears by the end. Expect it. Powerful music with a powerful message powerfully delivered can overpower you like that.

Tigallerro (Phonte x Eric Roberson) – “It’s So Easy”
Phontigallo + Er Ro = Phonte + Eric Roberson = Tigallerro. Got it? Good! Like this music they are putting out together – good. The sorta self-titled project “Tigallerro” is due out July 22, 2016. But wasn’t it nice for them to let loose this single for now. “It’s So Easy” to please us true fans, right? Links below. Stream above.

R&B: Zo! – “We Are On The Move” (Black Coffee Remix) / “A Choice of Weapons”
Gotta love a smooth groove from Zo! We posted visuals for “We Are On The Move” (featuring Eric Roberson and Phonte) already. But check out this nice re-visitation…with a bonus in the bundle.

R&B: Zo! – “We Are On The Move” feat. Eric Roberson x Phonte (Video)
Ha! ‘Old school players to new school fools!’ OutKast might’ve had something like this in mind with that lyric. Zo! got with some buddies and got to clowning on this Whispers inspired video. The track is dope, but they really seemed to have fun with visuals brought to you by director Kenneth Price. “We Are On The Move” (featuring Eric Roberson and Phonte) is another banger off the “ManMade” LP.
Zo! – “This Could Be The Night” ft. Eric Roberson x Darien Brockington x Phonte (Tall Black Guy Remix)
Zo!, Eric Roberson, Darien Brockington, and Phonte team up on the Tall Black Guy remix to Zo!’s 2010 original “This Could Be The Night.” This self-described ‘fly love song’ is the second leak from the “+FE Music: The Reworks” compilation that features remixes from Nicolay, Zo!, 4hero, ?uestlove and James Poyser and more. “+FE Music: The Reworks” is due out February 26, 2013. Zo! has his own album (“ManMade”) coming out this Spring.
R&B/Soul: DJ Kemit – “Fortune Teller” feat. Eric Roberson (Video)
New video from the homie (and all around super-dope producer and deejay) DJ Kemit. It’s a soulful banger! Watch for the cool guest appearances. I know I saw DJ Rasta Root, DJ Salah Anase, and model/singer Linda Pearl in there. Nice. Equally as nice…the silky smooth assist from crooner Eric Roberson on this joint. Respect to director Jirard (of the Digibees) and producer Aishah Rashied Hyman on this one, too. The track “Fortune Teller” appears on DJ Kemit’s new album “Everlasting” that’s available now!

R&B/Soul: Zo! – Just Visiting Three (EP)
Zo! is a back with a new project or cover tracks of some his favorite tunes. Anthony David, Phonte, Sy Smith, and Eric Roberson lend their talents on the vocal side. This is my favorite track from the project.
